This porter poured a deep black colour with a very small, almost non-existant head that is tan in colour. To the nose there are scents of roasted malt, coffee, caramel and a little cocoa. First sip smooth and rich with a medium syrupy mouthfeel. Flavours of roasted coffee, caramel and molassass most prodominant. finish is sweet with the roasty flavours lingering.
Clear deep dark brown with a thin light beige head. Delightful nose that’s chocolate cake-like with a hint of coffee with a thin hint of caramel. Smooth roasty dark malt flavor that’s slightly cocoa’d and has a hint of coffee. Smooth and nutty and bready and roasty. omhper (25375) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - JUL 7, 2017
Bottled. Near black, huge gushing head. Nice aroma of licorice and coffee. Bone dry with light-medium body and clean, spritzy mouthfeel. Chocolate and coffee, Resiny bitter finish. Skinnyviking (9644) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - OCT 18, 2016
Sample at the brewery. Medium high fluffy pale brown head. Pitch black body. Mild but solid roasted malt coffee liquorice aroma and flavor with a fair hops bitterness, low carbonation and a long finish. fiulijn (20993) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 31, 2015

Dark brown color, no head. Dark caramel aroma and flavor, very light roasty flavor too, a bit too dry and weak though. Luckily there is some chocolate too.
12 oz. bottle, pours a deep dark brown with an amber tinge with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted malt and dry cocoa. Flavour is fairly robust, with toasted malt, burnt crusty bread and toasted nuts. Somewhat robust in the flavours, but the body is quite weak making this underwhelming. Meh.

Pours dark red abd mostly opaque with an off-white head and little lacing. Aroma is a mix of sprucey hops and coffee beans. Tastes of roasted coffee and hops. Overall much more hoppy than expected. arminjewell (9689) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - JAN 18, 2015
Pour on tap at the brewery, dark reddish brown pour with tan head, aroma brought notes of cocoa powder, dark fruit, vanilla into a bit of caramel, toffee, some slight toast, nutty notes as well. Taste is a mix of caramel, toffee, dark cocoa into some roast, slight nutty note with a hint of dark fruit, finishing sweet, slightly dry. Probably the best I tried there. fidelis83 (2481) - Clinton, Iowa, USA - NOV 1, 2014
12oz. bottle thanks to joshmcg000 , Thanks! Black to dark brown pour with a one finger, creamy to soapy tan head. Aroma is caramel, toasted nuts, fruity esters, brown sugar and chocolate. Flavor is light roast, chocolate, berry fruit, a little molasses, char, burnt sugar, light woody notes and light earthy and pine hops. Medium body with a creamy to goopy entry, light, blanketing carbonation and still slightly goopy and creamy, chalky finish. Good stuff, tons of character considering the 4.6% ABV level.
