This is a great IPA with wonderful hoppiness. The dry hopping is very evident but with a smoothness that’s hard to beat. May become one of my new favorite IPAs. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone JahNoth (1039) - Rochester, New York, USA - AUG 11, 2004
I love the color of this one - deep copper amber. Fluffy head with lacing. Nice grapefruit nose and strong citric hop presence. Well balanced with a caramel sweetness. My only complaint is a watery mouthfeel, otherwise nice beer. Thanks to my father-in-law! gwfrankpsu (231) - McKinleyville, California, USA - DEC 18, 2001
Maybe it’s the altitude, but this is a wonderful hoppy brew. This has been a favorite of mine for 5 - 6 years. Wish I could get some in Maine, but I will next October. FestDecBeet (412) - - OCT 16, 2014
UPDATED: NOV 20, 2014 Look: pours a dark red copper color. White head. Very clear.
Smell: citrus. Grapefruits. Lemon. Oranges. Sweet caramel. Juicy fruit gum.
Taste: bitter on the front. Grapefruit. Slightly bitter finish but not overwhelming. Juicy fruit gum
Feel: creamy thick mouth feel. Medium carbonation.
Overall: good beer. Love how it all works together. Nice a smooth but not over the top.

Deep mahogany with a white and frothy head - tight & creamy bubbles. Sweet, fresh & malty aroma! Mighty fine-looking beer. Upon the first sip, sweet hop flavors burst out. Pure olfactory candy. Nice amount of bitterness in the finish – balanced. Floral, earthy, & piney... with a dry and puckering finish. Gentle fruit flavors merge with the hops perfectly! Malt is well complemented also. Good beer!

Poured from a 12 oz. bottle to a dark amber color that almost looked brown at first. Had a lingering off-white head and very good lacing thru the entire glass. Although this did not have the usual IPA appearance, the aroma was floral and grapefruit/citrus. Flavor was more citrus, and the finish was smooth, slightly bitter, and very hoppy. I had this IPA while sitting in a hot-tub after a day of rafting down the Royal Gorge. A most enjoyable beer. dwyerpg (6180) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - JAN 9, 2009
Really not much hop aroma for an IPA. Dark orange color. This is not a hoppy IPA - about equal with a SoCal Pale ale. The hops are more at the end of this. That said, this is still pretty easy drinking. Good, not great. PBOYNY (316) - Westchester, New York, USA - SEP 17, 2002
excellent, fruity with pine flavoring, tastes like a fresh forest, this beer is wild! phishpond417 (2088) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 9, 2009
A pretty tight IPA if i do say so myself. A cloudy copper colour with a medium sized head. Awesome aroma with fruity pebbles and fresh floral notes. Taste is so fruity and awesome with hints of pepper and blueberry as well as dankalicious herb notes. joshmcg000 (388) - Iowa, USA - SEP 18, 2014
Pours hazy copper with little bit of head. Aroma is citrus and floral, very nice. It has a rich grainy texture with its caramel malt profile. It balances very nicely with a slightly bitter piney bite and some citrus and tropical fruit hops. Pretty classic good IPA.
