A light pilsner in color and taste. Overall a typical light golden beer, not a lot to note.

Sample at the brewery. No head. Clear amber body. Mild and weak malt straw aroma and flavor with little hops bitterness, low caronation and a short finish. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - SEP 14, 2015
(Draught) Pours a clear yellow body with a medium white head. Aroma of grain, biscuit, and light citrus. Flavor of grain, earth, apple, and citrus. GPSpilot (5) - - MAY 29, 2015 does not count
Now I know why the elk are staggering: they’re about to drop dead after sampling this horrid brew. "Harshly metallic" is the only way to describe the taste. Did I get a bad batch? After 1 1/2 sips we dumped the rest of the bottle down the sink. FestDecBeet (412) - - NOV 5, 2014
Look: pours a dark golden color. Slight cloudiness. Bright white head.
Smell: heavy malt. Sourdough bread. Biscuit.
Taste: bread. Crackers. Heavy malt. Noble hops, minimal pine flavor. Hint of bitterness on the back end.
Feel: medium carbonation. Malt heavy. Very balanced and refreshing.
Overall: ok beer. Not a Bad lager. Like the balance. Normally not s lager fan but the mouth feel flavor and aroma are all nicely balanced.

"my buddy said this was a great lager on tap, but i wasn’t feeling the bottle. light and fizzy are the keywords. flavor and aroma has cereal malt and light grassy hops, but not much else."

12 oz bottle shared by Huhzubendah’s mother in law, thanks Sue! Pours a clear copper brown with minimal head retention and virtually no lacing. Aroma is mild biscuit malt and a certain unbalanced oxidized note. Flavor is same with a thin mouthfeel and sweet sugary finish. Huhzubendah (3705) - Washington DC, USA - SEP 22, 2014
Hilarious art work on the label and a great story behind this beer.
Copper body, light chill haze with a bubbly tan head. Aromas of lager yeast, heavy fruity sweetness, caramel malt. Eh...mediocre flavor at best. Caramel malt and sweet fruity booze. Pass. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 8, 2014
12oz bottle, purchased from Brennan’s in Madison during GTMW. Clear red orange color. Thin off-white cream colored head. Decent bits of lace. Head fades to minimal in a bit. Caramel malt, dark fruit. Kind of toasty. Moderate sweet taste. Light bitterness. Medium body. Kind of creamy. Smooth, light carbonation. Light slick. Solid stuff, better than expected. Nice to wash my sandwich down with. Pretty drinkable. Bulk_Carrier (6065) - Vermont, USA - JUL 17, 2014
Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy burnt yellow color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. There was some light foamy clingy lacing sticking nicely to the glass.
The smell had a nice sweet malty bill but allowed a nice under current of light spice to grace my nose.
The taste was mainly just sweet as it settled over my taste buds.
The palate had a decent sessionability with a fairly nice lightness about it. The carbonation was smooth.
Overall, good California Common that I could have again. RobertDale (6393) - Lansing, Kansas, USA - AUG 6, 2013
On tap at the brewery. Comes a clear pale gold with a small white head. Aroma of malt and citrus. Taste is malt, grain, lemon, and a hint of hops. Drinkable.
