This ale poured a clear, dark red colour with a soapy head. Not very appealing to look at. Scents include pineapple, citrus hopps, slight ripe fruit and hard apple cider. First sip was watery. Very thin mouthfeel. flavours of ripe fruit, hopps and cider. Finish is hoppy with a slight bitterness on the tongue. daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - JUL 28, 2011
Tap at brewery. Amber pour. Caramel malt, hops, golden raisin aroma. Flavor is lightly bitter, lots of caramel malt. rougeau13 (3008) - Richmond, Texas, USA - APR 17, 2011
The Stanley Hotel Redrum Ale - dark red-amber with a small head. Aroma of pale mal, bread and slight hops. Tastes slightly sweet with a dry hop finish. The big problem here is body. It’s fairly thin, and the carbonation is so low it looks and feels flat.
