COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our red is a special bitter, which doesnt mean that its overly bitter, just a well balanced bitterness that is noticeable. This copper-colored ale uses chinook and cascade hops.

12 oz bottle as The Stanley Hotel Redrum Ale. Reddish-copper and clear appearance with a white head. Pretty bland aroma and flavor, a balance of bitter hops and caramel malts. Light thin body with a soft, dry feel and a bittersweet finish. Not their best offering.

Tessic (1131) - Brantford, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 30, 2012
This ale poured a clear, dark red colour with a soapy head. Not very appealing to look at. Scents include pineapple, citrus hopps, slight ripe fruit and hard apple cider. First sip was watery. Very thin mouthfeel. flavours of ripe fruit, hopps and cider. Finish is hoppy with a slight bitterness on the tongue.

The Stanley Hotel Redrum Ale - dark red-amber with a small head. Aroma of pale mal, bread and slight hops. Tastes slightly sweet with a dry hop finish. The big problem here is body. Its fairly thin, and the carbonation is so low it looks and feels flat.
