This has got to be one of my favourite bland lagers of the current time. I’ve had the stronger stuff in Spain but this is what they sell over here at my local tesco, with a 3 for 2 offer, so 12 bottles for a tenner, not bad value compared to the other of wishy washy UK lager like Stella, Bud, Carling, Fosters Gold etc which retail at £8 for 12. Granted I haven’t had it in anything other than a bottle, but it’s crisp, with a pleasing lagery taste. It holds well in high quantity, which is very important for me as I tend to drink at least 8-12 bottles in a session. The alcohol content is also pleasing for this purpose, at 4.6 it doesn’t get me as drunk as 5% stuff would, but lasts the same amount of time. It smells like a lazy Spanish afternoon, and would go great with tapas. The colour I assume is pale golden, as the Spanish stuff is. It also has an added benefit in that I’ve had no ill effects the following morning, as I do so often with the now 4.8% major brand lagers that we have in this country, which have also become very metallic. I assume this is because of a lack of chemical filtering. It has corn, and citrus in the nose, very grainy taste, with a mild hint of citrus. Light beer for light summer days. Lovely.

Good light Spanish lager that goes with food and on its own. Can be enjoyable on a sunny day but also on a night in or out ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: DEC 20, 2017 Light easy drinking Spanish beer. Malty aroma, very little taste, nothing the way of finish. Does not warrant price. Dissappointing

I like Estella, but as I’m just moving over from Stella and Fosters onto nicer beers I would :) It’s just an easy to drink with no nasty aftertaste’s ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A medditarenian beer on a cold december day. Typical south-European beer. Not bad when it’s warm but nothing special either ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500ml can from the shop, drunk at home. Pours clear with a short-lived frothy head, light lacing, while the head lasted, a brief coarse bead. Slight aroma of corn with some floral notes. Medium carbonation gives a lively mouth feel, releasing more floral notes, cereal and bread, a hint of sweetness, with well-balanced medium bitterness giving a crisp finish. Overall, a pale lager that while refreshing, does not stand out from the crowd.

Pours a pale colour, clear with thin white head. Malty aromas of sweet corn (DMS), some grassiness and hints of a delicate fruity sweetness. Taste is crisp, clean and refreshing. Well balanced and very drinkable, but a little bit thin and lacking real depth of flavour. Would go down very well on a hot summers day, but not a beer I would choose regularly.

Pilsner yellow pour. Aroma, air. Taste, water. Mouthfeel thin. No, all jokes aside. Aroma is very faint malts. Taste is similar and palate is really quite thin. Nah, not even when it's a hot day in Barcelona.

UPDATED: NOV 11, 2017 Barwa słomkowa, klarowne. Piana raczej niska, drobno i śreniopęchrzykowa, opada dość szybko lekko ozdabiając szkło. Aromat jest bardzo ubogi, lekko słodowy, lekko kukurydziany, lekko estrowy. Smak lekko słodowy, lekko kukurydzany, dość słodkie. Goryczka minimalna. Bardzo wodniste. Nasycenie średnie w kierunku wysokiego.

Trinkbar, wenn kein Anspruch besteht. Insgesamt neben viel Wasser Malznoten und grasige Aromen. Pappig aber es gibt schlimmere...

Bosskie (956) - NETHERLANDS - SEP 21, 2017
Pale golden colour, weak white head, nice bubbliness. Smell is malty grain with a subtle mint bitterness, subtle sweetness, hint of white pepper and fresh grass. Taste is sweet bitter, full fizz with a refreshing crispiness. The finish is sticky and medicinal, grassy, not terribly pleasant.
