COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Aromatized with coriander, orange peel and liquorice.

Inedit means "Never been done before". In cooperation witht the brewmasterd of Estrella Damm, Inedit was crafted by the globally acclaimed chef Ferran Andria, Juli Soler and sommeliers Ferran Centelles and David Seijas from ElBulli Restaurant.

A skillfully brewed blend of lager and wheat beer styles, Inedit uses a combination of barley malt, wheat, hops, coriander, orange peel, yeast and water. Uniquely brewed to create a complex aroma and opaque appearance, a floral nose leaves a sensation of fresh yeast and sweet spices. Lightly carbonated with a creamy texture, the soft full body leaves a long and lasting finish.

Bottled, 330ml from Wine Rack at Yarnton Nurseries, Yarnton, Oxon. Gold with white head. To be fair I was expecting a full on Witbier here but actually it is a whole lot more subtle than that. There is a light Pear Drop note but this is more malt lead, crispish and understated. Easy flavours, a hint of vanilla. It’s fine.

UPDATED: FEB 15, 2017 Muy buena witbier. Posee poderoso aroma afrutado, una apariencia pálida (que quizás sea lo más flojo de la cerveza). Un sabor afrutado muy interesante con un cuerpo medio, acompañado de un paladar agradable.

Bottle at the holiday villa. Abades, Tenerife. Slightly hazy golden with white head. Sweet malts, citrus fruity, coriander. Medium sweet, light vegetal bitter. About medium body, chalky mineralwater feel and fine carbonation. Quite alright, but my standards might be off at this moment. (33 spanish pale lager ticks later)

Botella de 33cl que puede encontrarse fácil en supermercados. Ligera y refrescante, con toques de cítricos y final no demasiado persistente. Para repetir de vez en cuando

The beer looks beautiful. I didn’t knew what to aspect at first. The beer really looks like a Bram of sunlight in your glass. The color is lemony yellow, it’s amazing. Heavy cloudiness gives the beer a beautiful satin look. I like it. On top of the beer an a stage layer of soft, silky white foam is fkrm d. The bulk of the foam collapses quickly, leaving a nice tiny drape. The smell of the beer is really good. It’s very herbal. I smell nice zesty and citrusy hop aromas, giving nice bittern and slightly sour smells. Especially the zest is strong, becouse of the extra orange peel. The coriander aroma also is very strong and to me a great contribution to the citrusy hops and the orange peel. It’s in quite good balance. There are also nice sweet balancing aromas. I don’t smell any malts though, nor do I smell clear licorice. The taste is also very nice. There are some malty sweets, together with fruity sweet flavors and bitter and minimally acidic hops. I like the added spices. It makes a very harmonious beer. The body of the beer truly fits the smell and the taste. It’s mellow, soft and goes down easy. The body is medium light and the beer feels smooth. It even is a bit creamy. The finish is of average length and contains mainly fruity sweets. It’s a really good beer. I’m positively surprised.

Given the airs and graces that this beer flaunts, I was expecting more...in short is a nice, drinkable, light bodied, mediterranean beer, with hard-to-detect traces of spices and lemon&oranges in the aroma...it does not stand out from the group of holiday-by-the-sea beers...
