Bought an Estrella 12 oz. single bottle at the local Albertsons. The appearance is typical lager, a light yellow but with a decent white head and active carbonation. I do not detect much scent, a touch of straw. The taste is significantly better. I get some grass and resin and grain, finishing with a slight bitterness. Nothing to flip over but far from bad.

0.5 l can from a local supermarket in Zagreb. Clear pale golden, tiny white to off-white head. Hay, perfumed, traces of hops. Fake sweetness, very light bitter. Light to medium body, medium to high carbonation, abrupt finish. Bad.

On tap at Taberna El Pepelon, Madrid on 3-Dec-2016, and served in a shaker. Pale golden amber with a medium sized white head which dissipates quickly. Aroma of cereal and malt. Light body and medium carbonation. Taste of malt and grain - light bitterness. Refreshing.

On tap. Pale straw with ample head. Aroma is grainy/wet cardboard. Medium bitterness, thin body and crisp finish but otherwise uninspiring. Yawn................

Prima pilsener. Lekker pittig, oftewel een goede hop- en graansmaak. Verfrissende pilsner, niet te zoet.

Gold and frothy head are the highlights. Otherwise tastes of little and goes down easily.

Zlotta (2509) - Hagen, GERMANY - OCT 5, 2016
0.33 l bottle at Moll Vell, best before September 2017. Clear, golden yellow with a thin, fluffy, white head. Sweetish, grainy and a bit grassy aroma of straw and grains. Sweetish-malty, moderately grassy taste of straw, grains and some bread, followed by a short, slightly bitter, quite grassy and a bit metallic finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay!
