12 oz. bottle. Trade with Daknole. Huh. Beer-wise, I’ve never been to Spain (but I kind of like the music) even though World Market has Estrella Damn. "Best before MAR10," I presume that’s the year? Bottle presents the usual, slightly oxidized, light beer smell. Pours bright yellow and a rocky head. In the glass, offers a bit more oxidation, a b it of malt, but a clear trace of adjunct (that would be the "maize" in the description. Taste is regular pale macro lager. Let’s recognize this can be delicate style that doesn’t travel the ocean well. Getting more corn in the taste as I go, a little close to Old Style, in fact. Hop bill is standard and undistinguished. A shame. Wonder if there’s a suitable hop-growing region in Spain that would give this some terrior. But this also is bringing up some fusels that could precipitate a hangover. In fact, it’s starting to taste more like a malt liquor toward the end. Strange for a beer with such an average alcohol count.

I am from the city where it is made and I love its taste. Maybe this is because I am used to it but I love it.

Pour is a bright gold with a small fizzy white head. Aroma is skunky even with the brown bottle. Flavor is totally corny and that’s no joke. I haven’t had a beer this bad in a long time.
