(325 ml bottle as "Estrella clara Dorada" labelled 4.0% ABV)
Purchased from a 7/11 in Monterrey, Mexico on September 15, 2005.

KimJohansen (10510) - Frederiksberg C, DENMARK - DEC 22, 2008
Clear golden with winy white head. Sweet malty aroma with hints fruits. Sweet chemical flavour with malty notes. Bad stuff.

I almost forgot to rate this one! We had this on the bus on our way to the resort in Playa del Carmen. "Just like Corona" the guy says. Actually it has less hop character (if that’s possible), and a lighter palate-- I thought it might have been a light beer when I first tried it. A good kickoff to an awesome week, but otherwise a pretty forgettable beer.

blipp (9373) - La Mesa, California, USA - OCT 14, 2016
24 oz tall boy can. Pours fizzy gold with a white head relatively inoffensive, with straw and a little bit of corny sweetness. Fine.

RichTheVillan (7905) - Birmingham, West Midlands, ENGLAND - JUL 14, 2013
Tap at 3 Amigos Lichfield; Guest review time, Rich said this beer is shit. But he don’t care cos I’m (his girlfriend) is paying...guess he’d drink piss water if I was paying!!

Sledutah (7722) - Utah, USA - OCT 29, 2016
Bottle from Smiths
Pours clear straw golden with a small white head, light lacing. Mild sweet corn aroma and straw. Taste is sweet, corn, mild salty and wet straw
Not terrible

BlackHaddock (7404) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAY 12, 2016
Clear 12oz bottle into a Corsendonk badged tulip on 12th May 2016 in Southern California. Clear light golden body, white head left before it arrived leaving a thin collar and a wisp on top. Corn like taste and smell with a mini citrus/lemon trace left by a dirty flannel. Initial thoughts were "this is not too bad", second thoughts were "this is not so great", nearly had to drain pour after half the bottle as it began to deteriorate as my palate got used to the coldness and true flavours. Poor.

wlajwl (6867) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - DEC 29, 2016
Aroma is skunk and mild pale malts/corn. The flavor is pale malts/corn, fruit and a lightly bitter/beery finish.

luttonm (6452) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUN 30, 2016
24oz can in from a rural gas station in WA state. Pale beer, of course, sweet sticky aroma. Rather heavy, sweet, thick body for ’style’ of Mexican lager. Corn, cardboard, bitter overripe fruit. Not great.

jgb9348 (6316) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - APR 8, 2003
Bought it, because i've never seen it before. It was a horrible beer. One of the worst tasting beers I've ever had. With a mix of staleness and metal, it was a definate loser. Do NOT try it!
