Aroma of sake and light grains. Taste is corn, rice, skunk, shit...stopping. wchesser (2140) - Denver, Colorado, USA - SEP 18, 2016
Clear gold, good carbonation. Some bread on the nose. Really no hops to speak of. Super drinkable and most importantly in this type of beer, completely inoffensive. No complaints. oteyj (2138) - New Hampshire, USA - NOV 11, 2007
Pours light yellow with smallish white head. Not too much aroma- a bit of grain. Flavours were sweet vegetables and grains. Refreshing after a hot day, but otherwise not too special. phishpond417 (2088) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 22, 2008
"Una vez nada mas.." Wish i could say that, but i had it multiple times. Near the end of the trip, the $3.50USD sixers were too tempting. Im not sure what happened with this beer, but it was not your typical Plager, it was a little nasty to say the least. poured a straw yellow colour, with an aroma that smelled foul, dirty sort of liked canned gas. taste wasn’t all that pleasent either, but it went down regardless. even if it was a little rough. A grainy aroma more lager like than a pilsner, moderate carbonation, thin well laced white head.Taste is sweet corn with a light body and a short lasting grainy finish.

Pours a clear straw yellow color with a white head. Aroma is honey, vanilla, and some sweet pilsner malts. Flavor is grain, a touch of honey, and a bitter almost astringent hop finish. RAYBOY01 (2010) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 22, 2005
Very, very watery and weak, but enough alcohol to cut through the salsa burn. Please don’t call it beer, though. ronaldtheriot (1995) - Laplace, Louisiana, USA - FEB 26, 2017
Estrella Jalisco has a thick, white, creamy head, a pale straw, bubbly appearance, and some lacing left behind. The aroma is of bread dough and corn tortilla. Taste is of sweet, white bread, sourdough bread, and grassy hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium, and Estrella Jalisco finishes crisp, easy going, and enjoyable. RJT hombrepalo (1972) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 12, 2007
I think this is a verry good beer you wont find this beer anywhere else in Mexico but the state of Jalisco and primarily Guadalajara city. Light taste moderate aroma I tought it had a good flavor not too strong not too watery. JoeM500 (1909) - Crown Point, Indiana, USA - NOV 17, 2002
Yes, I put a lime in it!!! Hey, I was at the pool (the Peurta Villarta Beach was destroyed by Hurricane Kenna) and it was really hot... It did the thirst quenching job and was surprisingly less skunky than the Coronas.
