Pours a clear straw yellow color with a white head. Aroma is honey, vanilla, and some sweet pilsner malts. Flavor is grain, a touch of honey, and a bitter almost astringent hop finish. RAYBOY01 (2011) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 22, 2005
Very, very watery and weak, but enough alcohol to cut through the salsa burn. Please don’t call it beer, though. hombrepalo (1971) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 12, 2007
I think this is a verry good beer you wont find this beer anywhere else in Mexico but the state of Jalisco and primarily Guadalajara city. Light taste moderate aroma I tought it had a good flavor not too strong not too watery. SuperDave (1932) - Beautiful Sunny Mesa, Arizona, USA - MAR 8, 2010
Brought back from a cruise by a friend. Light gold. Corn and very faint hop. Watery. Nothing to see here! ronaldtheriot (1920) - Laplace, Louisiana, USA - FEB 26, 2017
Estrella Jalisco has a thick, white, creamy head, a pale straw, bubbly appearance, and some lacing left behind. The aroma is of bread dough and corn tortilla. Taste is of sweet, white bread, sourdough bread, and grassy hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium, and Estrella Jalisco finishes crisp, easy going, and enjoyable. RJT

Yes, I put a lime in it!!! Hey, I was at the pool (the Peurta Villarta Beach was destroyed by Hurricane Kenna) and it was really hot... It did the thirst quenching job and was surprisingly less skunky than the Coronas. Finhead (1742) - OFallon, Illinois, USA - MAY 17, 2016
A clear golden pour with a soapy white head. The aroma is terrible with heavy skunk and wet dog. It has a light watery body with average carbonation. The taste is mildly sweet with a quick, clean finish. Barreras (1687) - Diamond Bar, California, USA - MAY 8, 2016
Pours a light yellow color with a skunky corn aroma. Taste is light, corn flavor with an easy drinkability. No distinct aftertaste. Typical light beer, with no flavor. ghawener (1607) - Santa Tecla, EL SALVADOR - MAY 10, 2005
Bottle: Just when you think you have tried the worst from Modelo you stumble upon a regional brew that outdoes the others. I found this one in Cancun and even the Corona draft was appealing after this one. I had very low expectations but these guys surprised me again; skunky, chemical.
