massingasetta (759) - München, GERMANY - FEB 12, 2017
A decent unspectacular Helle from the Ettaler Kloster. It is a good Helle but it does not have too much of an own character. Not a bad choice but no hurray.

drpimento (3714) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 6, 2016
I think this is on the old side, though it was chilled in the dark. Poured with a fizzy head that quickly vanished and an unappealing dark amber color. Aroma wasn’t too bad, but nothing special- malty beery. Flavor was similar to nose with some fruit, no sign of hops. Tad thin. Would have to be better fresh.

500ml bottle [Thanks to bartlebier!]. Clear golden colour with average to huge, thick, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Slightly grassy and metallic, strawy aroma, a very cautious floral touch, mellow pale maltiness. Taste is minimally sweet pale malty, minimally floral and metallic hoppy overtones, a diluted strawy touch. Clean, mild, with subtle strengths (floral sweetness).
