A decent unspectacular Helle from the Ettaler Kloster. It is a good Helle but it does not have too much of an own character. Not a bad choice but no hurray.

Bottle at Freilichtmuseum Glentleiten. Clear yellow golden with a white creamy head. Aroma of grainy malt and some earthy notes. Sweetish, malty, grassy, grainy, mild hops bitterness. Light-bodied, quite drinkable. OK Helles. drpimento (3726) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 6, 2016
I think this is on the old side, though it was chilled in the dark. Poured with a fizzy head that quickly vanished and an unappealing dark amber color. Aroma wasn’t too bad, but nothing special- malty beery. Flavor was similar to nose with some fruit, no sign of hops. Tad thin. Would have to be better fresh. ozzy70 (1264) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - JAN 23, 2016
One pint 9 oz. bottle. Pours slightly hazy golden with white head. Aroma is grassy, citrus and light malt. Taste was vegetable and crisp.
