Bottle. Very nice thick head and the retention was unbelievable. Beautiful golden orange color. A very solid mix of malt and hops on such a highly hopped beer. Light mouth feel with citrus/orange and grass. The hops linger very long, but in a strangely good way. This beer made me a true believer in ECB. fonefan (49305) - VestJylland, DENMARK - NOV 15, 2009

Unclear medium orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, fruity, moderate hoppy, orange. Flavor is light heavy sweet and peel bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Very good IPA. Lots of rich hop aroma with some caramel malt too, but the hops are definately the winner here. Palate is filling with malt richness and a good level of bitterness without being over the top. A very good example of a US IPA. bluevegie (3073) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - OCT 25, 2009
Lasting white head on a slightly hazy golden body. Lovely aroma of hops, grapefruit and citrus, taste is delightful, enough bitterness without being over the top but lasts well until the last drop. Enjoyed this. BelgianBeerGal (4066) - Panama City, Florida, USA - OCT 10, 2009
Draught sample at the Portland Pub. This turned out to be a great recommendation from the bartender. I thought it was a really fresh IPA that had tons of citrus and no harsh bitterness.

Draught at Rogue Ales and Public House, Portland.
Big hoppy aroma, with lots of citrus and pine.. Very fruity, well-balanced flavor with a burning hop finish and good fruit throughout. A great beer; the surprise of the day.

Bomber. Pours a rustic golden body with an off white head. Hoppy with grapefruit, caramel malt, light citrus, pine, and a grassy body. Nice ipa. can8ianben (1545) - State College, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 8, 2009
Kind of a dry British IPA - not much in the way of sticky citrus presence - more of a dry pine body and aroma. Fairly light and balanced which means for an IPA you could drink quite a few of these bad boys. BeerFanDan17 (1120) - Brunswick, Maine, USA - SEP 2, 2009
4 oz pour at the Oregon Brewers Festival in July ’09. Nice IPA with good hop and matl balance.
