Shared with DrBayern, DoBoy and Steve. 22 oz bomber poured a hazy golden color, forms nice off white foamy head. Aroma was of hops and wet forrest grass. Flavour was of a hop bomb, tons of it. Extremely bitter with a nice citrus accent which blends itself to a near smoothness that teases your palate. Incredible beer! fiulijn (20515) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 16, 2008

Hazy golden color, with big steady head. The aroma shows first fruity hops, then some citrusy resins, later it gets more into some kind of British earthy hop feeling. It has an explosive hop flavor, piney resiny, just supported by a medium body, and ending with a great hop and toffee final. Despite the not-so-high alcohol, a great beer.
Draught at Rogue Distillery & Public House, Portland. From notes (March 2010). The aroma hopping really comes through (90 IBU with a modest, light malt bill). Yellow and yellow. Very good, chewy body. Well-balanced through mid and final. The best of the Rogue stuff we had that day. scraff (2121) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - JUL 15, 2008
22oz - Hazed dark golden amber, creamy white head. Fresh peachy pine aromas and kisses of citrus ride a warming sweet malt backbone. Sharp up front sticky resiny bitterness balances on notes of grass. A light sweet malt rounds the hops out well. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, bitter finish. A well made West Coast IPA that hop heads should certainly seek out… Cletus (6355) - Connecticut, USA - JUL 24, 2009
Pours gold with a large white head. Smells og bitter citrus, pepper, perfumy, some dry malt. Tastes crisp and bitter with lots of pronounced citrus and spicy,

Bottle. Very nice thick head and the retention was unbelievable. Beautiful golden orange color. A very solid mix of malt and hops on such a highly hopped beer. Light mouth feel with citrus/orange and grass. The hops linger very long, but in a strangely good way. This beer made me a true believer in ECB. yalnikim (800) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - JAN 17, 2010
15/01/2009. Tap @ Hashigo Zake. Slightly hazy pale gold. Lovely balance of orangey hop and sweet pale malts. Big moreish hop flavour with a bitterness that grows but doesn’t come close to overpowering. Plenty of malt on the palate to carry the hops. Reminds me of Ninkasi Tricerahops but this one is very much an infant... if a dinosaur at all. I liked this beer a lot so I had a couple more, just to be sure. douglas88 (9188) - Portland, Oregon, USA - APR 4, 2010
UPDATED: APR 5, 2010 On tap at the Rogue place in San Francisco. Pours a slightly cloudy orange with a medium white head. A great nose; rich fresh citrus hops juicy. The flavor was great; a aggressive citrus hop, loads of caramel balance it out. Really well done. bmeup (679) - Ormeau, AUSTRALIA - MAY 1, 2010
Haxy golden orange. Big constant head. Fruity citrus and spicy aromas. Lenghty and explosive spicy, resinous hops. Zingy bitter finish to the end. Most enjoyable IPA. paco (576) - Regina, Saskatchewan, CANADA - DEC 19, 2010
Bottle from trade with Savvy1982. Pours orange with a small head. Aromas are pine and sweet citrus. Flavors are full pine, citrus, honey, resin and more bitter hops. Awesome, wish i could buy it here.
