4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Aroma is nice -- has that real herbal amarillo kind of thing going for it. I expected it to be slightly more orange. What makes this IPA over the top is the flavor. It has that agressive NW style going for it but nothing offensive at all. Great balanced flavor with a nice grapefruit quality.
OK IPA. Got the bitter down but ever so slightly lacking in the aromatics and flavor. Maybe not super fresh, but they don’t date. Pine and spice and malt. natejgood (523) - Bozeman, Montana, USA - SEP 26, 2010
Pours a hazy medium golden with lots of bubbles and a nice white head that leaves lacing as it goes down. The aroma has a strong floral hop component. This beer has a lot of flavor, especially for a single IPA, but the flavor is smooth and well composed. Hops are at the front, followed by a floral creamy flavor. The beer is fairly crisp in the mouth, though the hops definitely such a little moisture out of the tongue. I was a bit surprised at this beer due to the amount of flavor, drinkability and how well the flavor works. skoisirius (1909) - Earth, Washington, USA - APR 21, 2010
Yummy is the way of the hop as it runs down the field toward the huge giant round gaping pretty thing that will eventually turn it into liquid pleasure for the squishy movable humans. kp (10881) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - JAN 18, 2009

This comes out of the tap a beautiful hazy, opaque, dark honey golden. Aroma is seriously hoppy and evergreenish. Flavor is fiercely hoppy, and has a strong evergreen component and some malt undertone. Bitterness is not strong or nasty. Texture is buttery smooth but lively and tingly. Strongly recommended to all who appreciate hoppy beers.

Draft at City Brewery in Eugene. Going to have to start taking notes for rating beers I guess. After some previous Rogue Dead Guys this seemed to have the same positives as Dead Guy but just a bit crisper all around. anders37 (26845) - Malmö, SWEDEN - JUL 29, 2008
Draught @ Issaquah Brew House. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small white head. Fruity malty floral hoppy aroma. Fruity malty hoppy citrus and grapefruit flavor. Has a malty hoppy finish. Ungstrup (38148) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUL 27, 2008
Draft. A hazy amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of hops, lending it notes of grass. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of grass, leading to a dry bitter finish. DocLock (10836) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 22, 2008
Hazy dark straw orangy pour with lingering off-white head. Nice hop flavor with tropical fruit undertones and a solid amount of caramel malt. The hops are crisp, assertive, and smoothed out by a solid malt bill. Outstanding. riversideAK (6261) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - JUN 18, 2008
Hazy yellow gold. Aromas of fruity and floral hops with some bready malts. Fruity and floral bitterness up front with some bready malts that never become too sweet. Pretty damn fruity actually with a great medium bitterness. Lingering hops, very resiny. I liked this one.
