0.65 l bottle at Man in the Moon, Stockholm. Hazy yellow brown color. Sweet aroma with juicy, fruity and sweaty hops, toffeish maltiness in the background. Sweet, fruity and toffeish flavor with firm bitterness, mango, apricot and some yeastiness. Oily palate.

22oz bottle. Poured a medium and slightly hazy amber color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of floral hops, some caramel, pine, and some citrus. Tastes of floral hops, pine, grapefruit bitterness, and lighter caramel. Body was on the thinner side though.

Hazy orange color, small off-white head. Bready, hoppy aroma with notes of citrus. Pale malty, bready and a bit citrusy. Very typical APA.

Draught sample at the Portland Pub. I had high hopes for this following their 200M IPA but this missed the mark. My notes honestly say "what is this?" I seemed a train wreck of ingredients but managed to also be boring and bland.

bluevegie (3073) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - OCT 9, 2009
Good size lasting white head on a slightly hazy orangey straw body. Leaves rings and clumps of lacing. Pine notes in the taste, noticeable and pleasant bitterness, malts not dominant but help out to balance this beer. Finishes a touch sweet. Some grapefruit shows itself late in this mainly hoppy aroma.

mkel07 (6218) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - OCT 9, 2009
650ml bottle. Wow. Rich deep golden amber with an ample white ehad that settles quickly but doesn’t dissappear. Wonderful aroma of hops, citrus and vanilla bean. Strong robust flavour that settles in the mouth. Very true to the style , well balanced and complex.

oh6gdx (26488) - Vasa, FINLAND - SEP 27, 2009
[email protected] In The Moon, Stockholm. Hazy orange colour, small off-white head, nice lace. Aroma is caramel, mild bready notes and some fruity and flowery hops as well. Flavour is fruits, caramel malts, some grass and mild yeasty dryness. Aftertaste is grass, fruits and some alcohol.

gracefullypunk (667) - Portland, Oregon, USA - SEP 22, 2009
Pours light orange yellow with some lace. Primary aroma of sugar with some citrus. Palate is creamy but undercarbonated, which is rare. Very bitter finish, with some citrus and floral hop.

Dorwart (2604) - Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA - AUG 29, 2009
Decent head of varying sized bubbles. Weak tea aroma with a bit of sweetness. Pretty unoriginal. Color is a hazy golden orange. Bitter and totally one dimensional flavor. No sweetness, very little malt and a ton of harsh hops bitterness. A bit of herbal tea flavors too. Long lingering bitterness with a dry pasty finish. Not a very good pale ale. Very bitter and one dimensional
