I’m reading other contributors impressions of this beer and wondering if we’ve drunk the same ale?? e.g "liquorice, blackberry, herbal, spicy, caramel, oily orange, bread / dough" etc. I got none of this, (not even pebbles in the rain).
For me, this drinks very much like a good IPA; dry, bitter, hoppy, grapefruit++
I was impressed! Stuu666 (15292) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 28, 2015

Cask Half Pint at Wibbas Down (JDW), Wimbledon, London in Oct 2013 during Spoons Festival - Pale Gold in colour. Fruity; mildly citrus. Hoppy; spicy hops. Malty; toasty malts. Sweetish fruity malty throughout. OK. Drinkable; but not particularly exciting. leaparsons (10865) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - NOV 24, 2013
Cask, The Corn Exchange, Leicester. Hazy pale gold with a white foam. Aromas are bready yeast with lemon and biscuit. Spicy with herbal blackberry and hints of liquorice. Flavours are crisp lemon and cereal with yeast. Nice background berries with nutty and leafy notes. Nice. Beese (3305) - Watford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - NOV 13, 2013
Cask at the Moon Under Water (JDW), Watford on 25 October. Poured a clear, light golden colour with a rocky white head and good lacing. Aroma is mild citrus hop, gooseberry and candy sugar. Tropical fruit flavours with some orange peal and straw. Finish was caramel, syrupy fruit and chewy malt. Better than I had anticipated; pretty decent golden.

Cask at the Catherine Wheel (JDW), Henley. Pale straw with a tight white head; a definite aroma of blackcurrant; soft and fruity taste with a touch of spice and a gentle bitterness to follow. A rather good Golden Ale. mr_h (6069) - Ayr, SCOTLAND - NOV 1, 2013

A: Golden, clear, 1 finger head, good retention. S: Some citrus T: Lots of cork plus a bit of spice. M: Medium carbonation, slightly carbonated, thick body. O: Fairly seasonable, but not necessarily the world’s best organic beer, won’t miss after the JDW festival ends. witthatsbier (597) - glasgow, SCOTLAND - OCT 28, 2013
