Cask handpull at Willow Walk, JDW, Victoria. Beautiful brown amber colour with lasting thin ivory head. Good deep, slightly sweet biscuit bitter. Some fruit. Very decent. (Cask at Penderel’s Oak JDW, Holborn, London, 24 Nov 2010) Dark amber colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, slightly fruity nose with toast, orange marmalade and apricots. Malty, slightly fruity taste with notes of toast and earthy hops in a dry, well balanced finish. Light body, fairly dry. Tasty and highly drinkable.

Golden amber with a scummy looking cream coloured head; attractive farmyard aroma; fruity malt flavour with some slightly sour apple; caramel and biscuit to finish. A pleasant enough bitter. Cask @ Sir John Moore, JDW. Dark golden colour, white head. Aroma is light malted, bit biscuit. Flavour is soft malty, fruity. Very soft and smooth. Easy drinkable.
