A - Clear amber-red color with a finger of white head. The head fades slowly down to a thin ring around the glass leaving behind some nice lacing on the glass.
S - Aroma is full of nice fruity aromas with some nice cherry esters. There is also some malt and some booze as well as some dark fruit mixed in.
T - Starts off with some dark fruit flavor and some sweet malt flavor. Through the middle some lighter fruit flavor. The finish is a mix of some sweet fruit flavor with some malt as well as just a touch of booze that lingers nicely.
M - Medium-full bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels smooth and just a touch syrupy. The finish has some nice sweet flavors and is just a touch tart as well.
T - Very drinkable. Nice complex flavors that are really nicely balanced. There is a nice amount of sweetness from the fruit flavors that avoids feeling overpowered. N3lson1 (1010) - Long Valley, New Jersey, USA - MAY 17, 2011
Very good beer at the Pump Station, better than the Kick Ass Brown (which is known for winning tons of awards). Not as good as the State Street Porter or the Munich Dark!
