From tap. Pours cloudy orange with a small white head. Citrusy hoppy. Dry hoppy, citrusy. Toasted malt base. Bitter, mild fruity. Medium dry and floral finish. Leighton (22051) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 25, 2015
Keg at the brewpub. Pours clear gold with a white foam head. The nose has some mild citrus, dried pale malts, hay. Medium sweet flavor with light perfume, flowers, orange peel and pine needles. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly drying on the finish with mellow floral bitterness and malty sugars. Good one. Braudog (6804) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - OCT 11, 2014
Draft at the brewpub. Bright golden pour with a bit of very light sedimentary haze. Retains a nice head and lacing. Drinks quite nicely, citric, floral and easy to drink with enjoyment. Best offering on my visit. (#5794, 10/8/2014) Mep3222 (1611) - East Greenbush, New York, USA - FEB 1, 2014
Mild floral hoppy aroma. Not much malt backbone and a bit watery palate. Lighter pale ale. Descent. Nothing special

The beer looks outstanding with a mildly hazy straw color, a nice white head and great lacing on the glass throughout. The beer smells decent with a nice blend of citrus, resin, and a bready smell. The beer tastes great with a decent resin taste with a hint of white pepper and a bready finish...almost acts like a IPA. The mouthfeel is outstanding as the beer is carbonated perfectly and you are left dry and mildly bitter. Overall, a solid APA from an under rated brewer (except the Kick Ass Brown, it has earned its stripes).?

Aroma is light floral and a touch of grain. Clear orange color. Tastes way more bitter than sweet. Not citric or even very hoppy, just bitter. Decent malt character, though this is not a stand out amongst the crowded style. Quevillon (3158) - Boisbriand, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 22, 2012
Drank on tap (10 oz) at the brewpub on September 16, 2012. Blonde foggy little head. Light aroma of hops a little dry, very soft. Hoppy taste dry and green, a few notes of herbs, slightly bitter. I would drink it if I was at a game! blipp (9596) - La Mesa, California, USA - JUL 26, 2012
Draft. Pours golden orange with a white head. Sweet citric hops, light floral notes, and lightly sweet malts. Bright and refreshing. UDBeernut (2883) - Saint Johns, Florida, USA - JUL 10, 2012
Beer 500! Now this is a proper apa. Golden amber hue with off white head that melts away. Lacing rings the glass. Nose of citrus and gentle pine. Bitterness and malt are well balanced. Grapefruit makes an appearance. Thanks for saving my opinion of the albany brewpub scene. justabeergeek (225) - Albany, New York, USA - MAR 23, 2012
On tap at The Albany Pump House. A nice orange/gold/amber color with 1 finger of head. It smells of floral and citrus, exactly as expected. There is a nice mix of caramel and citrus hops, a good chorus of sweet and bitter. It’s thin and a bit on the higher carbonated side, which I think makes for an easily drinkable beer when combined with solid flavors.
