Yellow hue capped by a white head with good retention. Moderate malt and flowery hop in the nose. Taste is well balanced, cracker sweetness, spritz of bitterness and flowers. Pairs well with the wurst platter.
From tap. Pours clear and golden yellow. Small white head. Aroma is citrusy and slight grainy. Dry, floral and slight fruity. Bitter and toasted malty. Bitter and dry finish. Mep3222 (1563) - East Greenbush, New York, USA - FEB 1, 2014
Slightly sweet fruity aroma and a slight sweet fruity flavor. Still very light, but more flavor than the Capitol light, with a bitter finish. Descent but nothing special.

M: Decent Carbonation, Light to Medium Bodied, Very Mildly Bitter
Overall, even for a Kolsch, this is way too light....this style is like Kolsch Lite. Just needs more ingredients to kick up the nose and taste. Scrapersnbeer (1532) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - MAY 27, 2013
Musty floral aroma. Light yellow color. Grainy buttery citrus taste. Everything subtle about kolsch done in an overwrought fashion. Papery body. Nonetheless, very drinkable and goes well with any pub fair. blipp (9268) - La Mesa, California, USA - MAR 1, 2013
Draft. This brewery tends to be pretty hit or miss, and this was a huge miss. Old and sweet and dirty, with rag-water and popcorn. Just not good at all.

Looks to style, nothing spectacular. Citrus, light bitterness, some maltiness. Had a very strange aftertaste, but not an unpleasant one. My companion enjoyed it, but I’d take other beers from their lineup before this one. Boliv (1150) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 23, 2011
On tap at the brewpub. Pours clear gold with a small white head. The aroma is sweet, with caramel and raisin, and the flavor follows suit, with some sweet malt, grass, and raisin. Thin, but easy-drinking. Jow (3924) - New York, USA - OCT 25, 2010
On tap at the pump. pours a pale golden straw color. taste is of corn, lemon, slight bitter and watery. but my wife enjoyed this quite a bit so to each his or her own. JoeMcPhee (9426) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 18, 2010
Very pale straw colour with a tight white head. Very low aroma with a faint kiss of lemon peel. A little bit of herbal/citrusy hop aroma but it’s pretty faint. I guess this is their light ale for lager-lovers.
