Just found notes on this one when my wife and I went to Albany.
The appearance was a soft golden hazy color with a decent transparency about it. The bar pour yielded a small white head with a thin ring coating the top of the glass.
The smell had some light orange and a little lemon.
The taste took those flavors and added a decent wheat kick to it.
On the palate, this one sat fairly light and was pretty sessionable.
Overall, in my opinion, it went great with the bacon cheeseburger I had that day. merc7186 (3142) - North Tonawanda, New York, USA - NOV 6, 2013
A: Hazy Golden Straw Hue, Passes Some Light, White Head Ring, Mild Lacing
S: Oranges, Wheat
T: Wheat, Mild Oranges, Mild Grainy
M: Average Carbonation, Light to Medium Bodied, Mildly Sweet
Overall, simple on taste, not enough fruitiness of the flavor but still easy drinking. j12601 (12000) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - AUG 8, 2012
Pouring at BCTC. Pours a hazed gold with a small white head. Musky yeast on the nose, wheat. Gentle musk. More wheat, musk, and a faint touch of lemon. Soft musk on the finish. Very sessionable. jmulv (336) - New York, New York, USA - JUN 29, 2011
Another good one from the Pump Station! Great smell of wheat and bananas. Taste is similarly delicious. Pick one up at the brewery if you’re in town jgb9348 (6268) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - JAN 17, 2009
Nice super hazy coloured blonde body with a white head. Aroma of wheat, coriander seed and bananas. Light-bodied; Nice nutmeg and wheat flavours with a still potent coriander seed taste. Perfect freshness that stays well in the palate - a great beer from a brewpub! I sampled this on draught at the Albany Pump Station in Albany, New York on 25 June 2006.

Yellow pour with tight white head and lace. Corrinader and ginger aroma. Tastes alot like it smells with a light bitter finish. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Very solid and refreshing. frankenkitty (2012) - Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA - JUL 13, 2007
Murky golden under a head that does not keep. Aroma finds banana esters, charred wood, a hint of sulfur, oregano... acutally a lot of herbs rising off the top. Chalky, spicy, herbal, banana... no problems in the mouth. Looking below at the duelling two-point-nines, I’d say some progress has been made in a year’s time. This is quite a nice Hefe, er... um... I mean Witbier. (Actually, it’s a little too hearty for a Wit.) Regardless, I like.

on tap-pours a white head with slightly hazy straw color and effervescence. Aroma is sweet, malt. Taste is wheat, musty, flatness from secondary hops. OK carbonation.

Palatable and drinkable witbier. Went down smooth with food, but I’ll defer to the experts for more precise analysis.
