FatPhil (15334) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - APR 8, 2012
500ml can (Stockmann, Tallinn)
Fairly sweet hoppy aroma. Caramelly, smooth, body, gentle carbonation. Hops even in the retronasals. Toffee too. Finish caramelly and even hoppy again. Might be an overrate as this is such an escape from the pale lagers weve just had. Definitely an adequate drink. Enjoyed it for what it was.

Bottled. Pour clear amber with a medium sized off-white head. Nose of earthy hops and notes caramel. Sweet flavor quite the same. Medium bodied, watery texture and soft carbonation.

rosenbergh (11264) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAR 23, 2012
500 ml can. Copenhagen, Denmark.
Clear amber colour with average size off-white head. Rather unpleasant stale floral hoppy aroma combined with some alcohol. Flavour is a bit more bearable. Some bitterness, floral hops and mild sweetness. Alcohol lurks in the can. I know a few better English ESBs.

suurjuust (3256) - ESTONIA - FEB 5, 2012
Can. Golden amber, white head, some lacing. Nose is mainly malts and caramel with metallic hints. Taste is dominated by tea and sweetness, but theres also caramel, malt and a vague fruitiness. Dry and bitter finish.

Re-rate 27.03.2012: Gamle karakterer i parantes.

Udseende: 4/5 (3)

Alt i alt: 12/20

thirstyrabbit (1798) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - OCT 14, 2011
Can. Red amber body, small head. Crisp English-hoppy aroma (flowers and pine). Taste is fruity and medium hoppy. Finish is hoppy too. The palate is not as rich as the better ESBs have but perhaps it makes it more easily sessionable.

Clear amber color with a good off-white head. A little thin but good pleasant easy-drinking beer. Fine tuned bitterness.

Smell and taste of malt, toffee, fruits and hops. An ordinary English Bitter.
