Full-bodied and good with nice balance of malt flavor and hop bitterness. Unfortunately did the frothy head disappear a little too fast.

Golden and poured with a medium head Malts dominate with some sweetness creeping in.The flavour realy lingers. Quite impressive although I would class it as a premium bitter rather than an old ale.

BlackHaddock (7690) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - OCT 4, 2013
5.2% ABV Bottle: BBD 28 Sep 2013, poured into a UK pint sleeve some 6 days after that date. Looks lovely, a true amber hue to it’s body: the crown a full, deep blanket of off-white foam. Malty and fruity nose, those aromas carry on into the taste nicely. Semi-sweet and full of malty molasses that sweep the hop content under the surface throughout the pint, toffee, caramel and biscuity notes fill your senses and I actually enjoyed it more than the cask version, which is very unusual for me.

Cunningham (8395) - Halden, NORWAY - SEP 8, 2014
Nice rich golden color, with a fine white head. Good lacing. Fresh fruity and herbal/mild citric hoppy aroma. Well balanced hoppy, fruity and malty taste. Lovely thirst quencher. Good session ale.

Bottle from morrisons. Drank on my last night in our old house whilst packing. Dark copper beer with small head and patchy lacing. Aroma of malts, caramel and some light treacle. Taste is treacle, malts, caramel and a little spice. Wasnt expecting this, better than cask. Good stuff.

labeerinthum (1054) - Milano, ITALY - JUL 30, 2016
Lattina. 4.7% ABV.

Can 0.5 l. Amber color. Small-medium white head. In nose some crystal malts, toast, raisins, metal. In mouth raisins and caramel with some pepperness. Sweet at first, bitter-sweet aftertaste. Not bad at all.
