Cask, Seasonal;
Made with Styrian Dana hops and infused with real pumpkin, the new ale is our first bitter specifically brewed for Halloween and offers a real autumnal flavour. With a burnt, smoky character, balanced with light citrus flavours, Pumpkin Ale has a lingering bitter finish. It’s also made with three types of malt – standard, crystal rye and black malts.

On cask at Weterspoons Real Ale Festival 2013 Light fluffy fruit beer. Not as potent as I expected but easy to drink. The lack of a real flavour let it down

UPDATED: NOV 8, 2017 The Three Nuns in Loughborough. Sweet beer, a bit too sweet for me. Nice for a change.

Dark brown color with a tan head. Looks ok. Decent intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a soft carbonation level. Tad sweet. Toffee, fruity and some spices in the flavor. A bit to warm and flat for my likings. Could have been nice.
[Cask at Old Horse in Leicester, England]

Gravity cask at the Birmingham CAMRA Beer Festival 2015. Poured a clear medium to dark brown with a thin broken white head. The aroma is light sweet malt, some pumpkin but not a lot. The flavour is light bitter sweet with a crisp, fresh light pumpkin light woody hop palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask at The Roebuck, Leek (Titanic) A clear ruby brown colour with a medium white head. Aroma of toffee, some nuts, slight dark berries, subtle spice and maybe a little chocolate. Taste of toffee, some chocolate, nuts, slight dark berries, subtle cinnamon and late earthy bitterness. Light bodied and a smooth texture. A dry, toffee and earthy bitterness in the finish. Not really a pumpkin ale but it’s a decently smooth bitter/brown ale.

Cask at foot of the walk. Very sweet and thin, light fruit, phenolic flavours, not very pumpkiny, light smoke, sour.

CraftyBeerTour (155) - Barcelon, SPAIN - NOV 3, 2014
Was impressed by its silkiness in the mouth, rich brown colour, persistent off-white foamy head, nicely balanced gentle bitterness and some sweetness.

Cask. Nut brown ale with a thick light tan head. Nose is root vegetable and a touch malt. Taste is... well pumpkin. There’s a spicy bite in the finish. Paprika. Fun, seasonal ale.

niquillis (2752) - Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 23, 2014
On cask at White Star, Stoke. Pours mid brown with white head. Very smooth bitter base, where’s the pumpkin though? Bah!
