Crosse Keys Spoons. Clear pale gold beer. Residual white head. Light dry palate. Light fruit with a touch of sulphur. Dry finish with a mild minerals. Was looking forward to this but a total meh! Nelson - what blinking Nelson?
[Cask at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading] Gold, small white head. A little bit of peach, with a crisp but slight bitterness following. This could be quite nice if it was souped up a bit, but at the moment it’s all very thin, watery and restrained. Shame.

Hand pulled cask at several JDW pubs during 2011 Autumn Beer Festival. Pale gold with a white head. Bitter hops with some citrus flavours but overall rather astringent. and masking the malt character. Refreshing. AshtonMcCobb (6898) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 17, 2011
On tap at Corn Exchange in Arbroath. Pours a slightly hazy golden colour with a decent head which hangs around. The nose has some notes of pine and grapefruit pith. There’s more of the same on the taste against a pale malt background. The palate is light to medium in body with a medium tangy texture and a good clean finish. Overall, a good ale!
