On tap at Chuck’ 85th Hop Shop, Ballard, Seattle for $3.50 / Pint. Relatively Hoppy crisp mild sweet balanced Winter IPA.
On tap at Baileys Taproom. Colour...semi hazy amber with a thin white head. Nose...lightly hoppy with wisps of citrus. Palate...grainy and tangy up front with a hoppy bite that is firm. The grainy flavour sticks with the whole palate and hints of cilantro work their way in as well. troopie (2324) - Munchen an der Willamette, Oregon, USA - DEC 8, 2012
Draught. Aroma is toffee, malt and sugar. Nutty flavour, with more sweetness, but not too sweet and a caramel (to me) bit. Good for sipping, and might be good warmed and spiced. Good full finish. bb (9241) - Alamo, California, USA - FEB 17, 2012
Draft. Rich amber beer with a tan head. Light citrus aroma. Grapefruit and malt flavor with light earth and light woodsiness. Medium bodied. Grapefruit and malt linger with light earth and light woodsiness. riversideAK (6260) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - DEC 26, 2010
Nice nose of toffee, caramel, some darker fruity and biscuit/toasted bread and notes of hop resins as well. Pours darker brownish, red hues underneath, thin head. The flavor starts nice and sweet fruity with notes of toffee, caramel, dark fruit and toasted breads. Spicy peppery hop bitterness, a little floral a little earthy. Dry but lightly sweet finish.
