Dont be fooled by this beerits vanilla, not tapioca! Dark color, creamy head, and complex flavor combine for a substantial beer that gives you a soft nose with a light, bold taste. Madagascar vanilla beans are the star of this beer, accented by bourbon and cocoa. Your brain tells you its going to be deep, dark, and heavy, but your tongue knows the truth. Youll love the voodoo that we do

Can shared by Kyle, thanks! Pours black with a light brown head that lasts throughout the beer and laces slightly. Aroma has a good amount of roasted malts with some vanilla and earthy dark grains backing. Flavor combines earthy dark grains and roasted malts with touches of rye and vanilla supporting.

Can thanks to DeyHolla. Deep brown pour with a small head. Nose has plenty of vanilla. Mild milk chocolate. Flavor is fairy well balanced. Earthy, mildly acidic char. More vanilla. Light toffee. Cocoa. Light and easy drinking. Bright carb. Solid.

I got this at a Railcats game which is awesome. Its not too vanilla and a pretty nice roasty porter if a touch watery. It has a decent coffee like character and a solid bit of bitterness in the finish. Im not saying this is a world beater but it drinks good and I like it fine.

A vanilla rye porter which is far more vanilla than it is rye or even porter. Much too sweet for my tastes. Pours black, tan head, vanilla aroma is pretty nice though. Tried with Guy and Matt at Fat Dans in Indy in 2016.

This is a vanilla rye porter: Tan head dissipates quickly to a slight cling to glass edge. Nice slightly carbonated mouth feel with a dark malt/rye front pallet. Just a very slight vanilla taste...would like to taste just a bit more. Finishes crisp with a roasted malt flavor.

16 oz. can, from StFun. Pours black, with a small, bubbly, tan head. Aroma of chocolate pudding, rye spice, caramel, licorice, and light cinnamon. Sweet and syrupy, lightly bitter, with a smooth rye finish. Medium body, creamy and smooth, and a bit astringent. This is a fun, flavorful porter. Harsh and bitter at first, but it gets markedly better as it warms.

This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a no visible carbonation semi-opaque except at the edges ruby red brown colored body and a fair lacing. The mild aroma was malty. The smooth mouth feel was tingly at the start and strongly tingly at the finish with a medium coffee aftertaste. The nice flavor contained notes of roasted malt brown malt and hops. A decent one that I would consider drinking again.

Can thanks to StFun and free beer week! Pours a deep brownish black with bubbly tan head that dissipates to leave light lace. Aroma of mostly dark malt and fruity yeast, not really getting any vanilla or rye. Taste is at least more toward the vanilla, lacking on the rye for me. Solid porter, just nothing that special.

473ml can. Brown pour. Aroma is rich cocoa and a light bit of vanilla. Flavor is okay, herbal malt juice, some roastiness. Okay.
