UPDATED: OCT 10, 2012 Bottle at Craft and bottle from Capone’s. Pours hazy orangy dark straw with off-white head. Nose is tropical citrus, pale malt. Tastes medium in palate heft and density, with notes of tangerine, florals, and pale malt.

FROTHINGSLOSH (7796) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 19, 2013
Sampled on draft this beer poured a murky dark apricot color with an enormous fluffy orange-white head that lingered and left incredible lacing. The aroma was tart, sour and tangy with moderate tropical fruits and lemon. The flavor was dryish with notes of pepper, bread, tropical fruits and lemon. Medium length finish of bread and tropical fruit. Medium body. Solid.

Bulk_Carrier (6065) - Vermont, USA - MAY 17, 2017
Bottle to tulip, the appearance was a rustic burnt copper/orange color with a finger’s worth of light foamy white head. Dissipated mildly to leave some light sliding lace. The aroma had a brush of grapefruit pulp, subtle sting of clove, light leather, white bread and a touch of Belgian yeast. The flavor leaned towards the sweetness of the prior mentioned aromas to bleed into the aftertaste sweetly. Finish was quick with a light maltiness. The palate was just a tad under medium bodied with a decent sessionability about it. Mild carbonation and the ABV felt fine. Overall, decent Belgian ale, maybe give another go if handed.

pineypower (3332) - Ocean County, New Jersey, USA - MAY 12, 2013
Bottle from Canal’s. Pours a moderate dark copper color with a nice white head. Aroma is of odd fruits, some flower petals, light citrus, fruity yeasty notes. Taste is a mess, bread, flower petal, fruity yeast, honey, plastic, thin body.

3.2
NikkTwist (3225) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 30, 2012
Draft at Tattooed Mom in Philly. Cloudy medium dark honey amber with a foamy head. Citrus floral taste. Tangelo peels. Black pepper. Thyme. Wildflower honey. Mild hint of hops but not in anyway an IPA. Maybe a watered down Trappist Dubbel with some light hop bite. Juicy. Bit bitter. Bit sweet. Bit unusual. But not quite sold on it.

3.4
jeremytoni (3058) - Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA - DEC 9, 2012
From the tap poured a straw color with a good amount of head. Light hoppy flavor with a quick finish.

3
DCLawyer (2846) - Falls Church, Virginia, USA - DEC 24, 2012
Draft. Copper color with small head. Aroma has yeast, fruit, and hops. Taste is citrus and hops, but unbalanced and too sweet. This is an odd beer.
