Pineapple Hefeweizen. Brewed with pale, munich, and wheat malt, and hopped with Tettnang and Hallertau, we take the very traditional Hefeweizen and up it a notch with Pineapple! At 5.5% ABV, this will refresh your pallet during the hot summer weather.

Rating #2489 - 2016.05.04 - Can at Morgans Pier in Philly. Pours a clear golden yellow with a little haziness. Bubbly white head dissipates quickly. Aroma is a Hawaiian punch, full-on pineapple. Not going to Dole out too many superlatives here as this is fairly two-dimensional, but this is fairly easy drinking and delivers enough hefeweizen haze and estery notes to make me not hate it.

Hazy golden coloured body with a thick, three centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of pale malt, grass, light hops, earth and the slightest bit of pineapple. Light-bodied; Strong grassy flavour with some subdued herbal flavours, a bit of sweetness from fruit, a little funk from the yeast and a very mellow and earthy flavour, but not much of any one thing. Aftertaste shows some grassy, herbal, lactic and sweet notes with more wheat and pineapple flavours than previously, but nothing horribly strong. Overall, a pretty mild beer with some decent flavours, but nothing too strong or deep. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Gat Beer in [NorthEast] Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on 02-July-2016 for US$3,00 sampled at home in Washington on 03-November-2016.

Pours hazy straw color with a soapy, 2-finger white head. Sweet-tart aroma of pineapple juice with a yeast note. Body is light and a bit watery. Brief finish. Grainy flavor with pineapple mixed in. Notes of lemon and yeast.

Not a huge fan of the pineapple, or any fruit for that matter. But I loved the name of the beer as a homage to Will Ferrells Anchorman, so I gave it a shot. Would not recommend unless you do it for the Snapchat or you are intrigued by pineapple beer.

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle. Yellow, headless pour. Moderate clarity. The aroma screams pineapple as expected with toasted bread under neath and a grassy hop character. Thin body. The taste is very much pineapple forward above and beyond everything else. Mild bitterness but mostly fruity. Eh.

Pours a hazy yellow straw, nose is of pineapple candy, flavor is similar, more sweet than flavorful, no clove or yeastiness that you might get in a hefe. Okay beer.

Pours a hazy straw yellow with a thin white ring. Aroma of whet, bread dough, yeast ans some sweet fruit. Fairly crisp but flavors are pretty weak. Feels like a watery Weizenbier. Almost no pineapple taste, just a hint of some fruit flavor. Disappointing.

Pours a hazy gold with minimal white head. Smells of clove and bad pineapple candy. Taste is sweet, mildly bitter and mildly spiced - mostly junky wheat beer mixed with bad pineapple - nothing works here.
