Pouring at Sierra Nevada beer camp. Pours a hazed gold amber with a thin white head. Soft citrus and musk on the nose. Big mango. Medium bodied, soft musk and gentle wheat. Slow citrus. Beerdedone (3521) - Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 28, 2016
Bottle. Pours golden with a thin white head. Aroma of citrus, orange and light caramel. Flavor was bready with yeast, citrus, pine, light banana and had a touch of caramel. ganache (6136) - New Jersey, USA - MAR 4, 2016
Bottle. Blah nose slightly vegetal, resinous. Pours deep, bright, clear orange with a short off-white head. Sweet taste with orange and tangerine, but stronger cookie, cracker, dough, eventually pulling through with juice, lemon, even a hint of Concord grape. Light bitterness enough to keep the medium sweetness in check, nothing extreme at this point. A little more melon and kiwi as I go, faint paper, but those are rounding agents compared to the delicious cookie. Fullish body but not fat (actually somewhat silky), alcohol well tamed, easy-going and quick-drinking for something of its size, and without pretension. Would gladly buy again. Golden color with a whitish head. A bit of tartness, light for the strength. Citrus, bread, not very bitter or hoppy overall. alobar (4011) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 22, 2016
Pours a cloudy golden orange with no head. Aroma of resin, citrus, and a hint of caramel. Citrus flavor with caramel, bread, and some pine. Okay. BillWyce (1128) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 15, 2016
1/28/16 version. Pours lightly hazy golden color with a 1-finger white head. Aroma is mild for a DIPA- citrusy, and maybe a touch of pine. Body is medium and lightly oily. Finish is mild, with a light dryness. Flavor of resiny hops, with a note of citrus underneath that lingers at the back. FROTHINGSLOSH (8446) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 27, 2016
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a murky orange-apricot color with a large foamy orange-white head that left decent lacing. The aroma was malty with a sour caramel note, yeast, pine, orange and was somewhat off. The flavor was sweet, tangy and yeasty with mild bitterness, pine and vague fruity hops. Medium length finish. Medium bodied and smooth. Ok.
