12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Poured dark brown, with a off white head that left a nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malts and cocoa very nice. Taste is quite consistent malty, some chocolate and a very slight hint of spices. Very decent porter however I somehow I feel like Iím missing the flavors that prompted me to buy this beer: Pumpkin and Spice (since thatís what it says on the label); not bad overall.
Tap. Pours a clear dark brown body with a minimal wispy beige head. The nose is extremely chocolaty, smells like a candy bar or Hersheyís chocolate syrup. The flavor is a little over the top with the chocolate syrup, itís all I can taste. Very syrupy. Not much pumpkin at all, would never have guessed it was in there. Medium bodied, clingy, fizzy carbonation. Interesting, but not something I would want more than 12 ounces of in one sitting. smurphy711 (4) - Newark, Delaware, USA - AUG 23, 2016 does not count
Pours a nice dark brown. Notes of chocolate and fall spices. Flavor is mostly chocolate, couldnít really taste any pumpkin. Not a bad fall beer, just wish it had a little more pumpkin. ryanscourt (1458) - Latrobe, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 19, 2015

Draft at The Pour House in westmont, NJ.
Pours pitch black and completely opaque with a half finger light beige head that slowly settles into a thin ring. Spotty lacing left behind.
Roasted dark malt aroma with lots of dark chocolate, caramel and toffee. Also, Iím picking up some coffee bean and molasses but the pumpkin presence is overpowered. Some zesty allspice but iím not getting any vegetal or dessert like pumpkin pie presence. Chocolate and dark malts really overwhelm with subtle cinnamon, brown sugar and other autumnal spices.
The pumpkin presnce is a bit stronger in the flavor but itís still almost completely overpowered but the dark toasted malt and rich chocolate notes. Hints of coffee bean, burnt toast, caramel and toffee along with some molasses and fudge/chocolate cake. As it warms, the pumpkin flavor comes out a bit more but itís very subtle. Never would have guessed it was in there. Very subtle vegetal presence with faint autumnal spices coming brought. Some clove, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla before the dry finish. Slightly acrid as well. I was expecting more pumpkin and for it too be smoother from the chocolate malts. Overly dry and roasted combined with peppery spice makes it a bit harsh to drink.

Dark brown coloured body with a thinnish, two centimetre tall light brown head. Aroma of rich allspice, coriander seed, cloves, anise, peat, earth and bunches of nutmeg. Medium to Full-bodied; Very rich and earthy flavour with a big toffee and caramelised sugar component and a lot of squash in this one - the body is way up there, and so is the earthiness and vegetable flavours at the beginning. Aftertaste shows a nice blend of spices, sweetness, earthiness, richness all with a pleasant alcohol flavour and complex sweetness. Overall, a beer fitting for the style and is plenty good, just not perhaps world-class. I sampled this thirty-two ounce growler fill from Whole Foods in Fair Lakes (Fairfax), Virginia on 18-October-2015 for a great price of US$5,00 sampled at home in Washington after my final training run for the USMC Marathon 2015 on 18-October-2015. keepersj12 (3115) - Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA - OCT 18, 2015
I was not a fan of this beer at all. Maybe I'm getting worn out with this style. I got nothing of what was promised.
