COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hey girl - just listening to you talk about how the CMY-1, CMY-5, and CMY-7 Brettanomyces yeast, along with the Pale 2-row, Munich II, Oats, Wheat, and Honey malts, together with citrus peel and juice added at KO, followed by fresh zest with balanced citrusy hop characteristics at whirlpool - makes me wanna drink this beer just for you. An all-Brett pale ale brewed with citrus peel and with citrus juice added.

Draft at Alla Spina. Pours a hazy orange with thin, quickly diminishing head. Aroma of citrus, brett, grain. Medium-light body. Taste is citrus, brett funk, cheese, oats and a lingering grainy/bready finish. Not bad but not to the same quality of Crooked Stave brews

Small slightly fizzy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet sour-ish fruity, brett, dried fruits, citrus peel, orange, old hops, old cats piss, old leafs. Taste is dry and strange citrusy, brett, citrus peel, old leafs, dried fruits, old cats piss, butterscotch, oak, weeds. Medium to longlasting bitterness, very dry mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Rating #2457 - 2016.04.19 - Bottle from CBI - Clear golden pour with a sticky white foam that bubbles away fairly quick. Wondrous aromas of orange peel, peach, lime, pepper. Palate is sticky tropical fruit punch sweetness, and the sourness comes in with some glorious dry tang. Nice.

Vestergaard (2089) - Aarhus C, DENMARK - JAN 22, 2017
From tap at Fermentoren Aarhus. Pours a clear golden yellow with a medium sized white head. Aroma has lots of brett, citrus zest, peel, oats, light coriander, light sellery. Taste is crisp, dry, very low bitterness. Light crisp body and a high carbonation.

UXO (1896) - CANADA - JAN 12, 2017
Appearance: clear straw with one fat finger of growing white head, excellent retention and clingy lacing. (5/5) Aroma: dusty straw, lemon zest, tropical fruit, pale malt, light earth. (7/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate bitter, light funk. (7/10) Palate: light body, moderate carbonation, mildly bitter and funky finish. (4/5) Nice. Brett-dominant, without being overwhelmingly funky. (Not that there’s anything wrong with overwhelmingly funky, y’unnerstand, just that sometimes it’s nice to go in a slightly different direction.) This is basically a citrusy APA, except with Brett instead of more traditional yeasts. The Brett bookends the flavour profile, coming into play at both the front and in the finish, but the middle is basically a balanced hoppy APA. It could be a crushable patio-style APA if it weren’t so expensive! (15/20)

Clear golden with a thin white head. Dusty bretty and Belgian golden nose. Crisp dry flavor that’s gently funky and gently bretty, and a mellow gold malt.

Lacking a dominant taste, I found this to be light, easy drinkable. On tap, Fermentoren Aarhus
