No gushing, but pouring turns into a differed build-up of towering and then overflowing very lacy cream-tan head over virtually black beer. Intense dry hops, much ureum, and a backbone of sweetish caramel, intensified by the ureum - as some sticky fluid dried up. Very bitter, hopoils galore, but also a hint at molasses - just the hopoverload precludes any sweetness to be perceived. Dry straw, hopbailes. Spritzy, very slick to sticky, oily, well-bodied; Black hopbomb. Don’t go looking for subtleties. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - SEP 13, 2012
500. Pours a cloudy dark, dark amber with a dense and wooly off-white head and spotty, drippy lace. Big fresh floral nose with light orange-blossom notes. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Caramel and oranges on the mid palate. Crisp bright resiny finish. daje (4436) - NORWAY - AUG 31, 2012
Bottle at Schouskjelleren, april 2012. Black body, creamy brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, pine, milk chocolate and lemon peel, quite nice! Taste is very hoppy, peach, grass, flowers, with coffee, licorice and a good bitterness. Acidic and bitter finish with a subtle roasty touch. hirigalzkar (3203) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - AUG 19, 2012
Bottle. Pours black with a fluffy off white head. Citrus and coffee in aroma. Very bitter! Coffee bitterness and hop bitterness at the same time. Some orange. Quite boring. finol (3428) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - AUG 19, 2012
Bottle at Bishops Folkungagatan.
Pours black with a light beige head.
Dosn´t taste very black at all, guessing the bright one tastes the same! Malty, bitter and lots of orange peel.

50cl (Evil Twin version), new exclusive Danish collab. brew Anno 2012, from De Hopduvel Gent, complex bitter brew, bitter/roasted and slightly fruity/woody, very bitter, yet balanced, hazy black-brown, good head, good brew, yet expensive, but original concept! mcberko (18081) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 8, 2012
500mL bottle, pours black with a voluminous light brown head. Aroma of roasted malts, some powdery cocoa, lightly roasted espresso and harsh citrus hops. Flavour isn’t nearly as pleasant as the nose - it’s the epitome of unbalanced, with ridiculously harsh citrus hops, torched / burnt malts, burnt coffee, tar and ashtray. Very dry and absurdly unbalanced and bitter. Finishes, burnt, bitter and ashy. I don’t understand the average rating for this one, and I am a hophead. Quite badly constructed really. rarbring (2295) - Linköping, SWEDEN - AUG 4, 2012
Aroma: Smelling "hoppy", grass, fruits, orange.stefannilssons (1580) - SWEDEN - AUG 4, 2012
Appearance: A black beer, a brown small head, little lacing but good curtains.
Flavor: Starting sweet, burnt bread, strong licorice, soy sauce and grape-fruit peel.
Palate: Little carbonation, coarse texture with a good body, a dry finish.
Overall: A lot in this one, somewhat inharmonious.
Note: Bottle 500 ml at De Klomp
Otroligt jämn, rund och välbalanserad öl med en kraftig beska som stundtals sticker till ordentligt. Slutsats: en bra jävla öl helt enkelt.
