Congratulations, you have just managed to get your hands on Russian Roulette - a rare kind of collaboration between Evil Twin Brewing (Denmark) and OMNIPOLLO (Sweden).

This beer would best be described as an IPA with a twist. A twist that will reveal itself first after you "bust some caps".

One thing remains sure however, if you like hops and the lush texture of a well crafted beer this will have you smiling as you face your destiny.

Good luck,
Jeppe (Evil Twin Brewing) and Henok (OMNIPOLLO)

mile (4005) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUN 10, 2012
Bottle. Very dark brown - almost black, average to large and mostly diminishing head. Moderate to full, malty and lightly sweetish aroma, tropical fruitiness and roasted malt, lots of grapefruit and piney hoppyness. Body is medium to full, malty and dryish flavor, lots of roasted malt - some burnt malt, piney hoppyness. Finish is average to long, malty and dry, lots roasted malt - burnt malt, lots of sharp piney hoppyness. Huge amount of hoppyness - together with same amounts of roasted/burnt malt in the finish bitterness gets bit sharp. Anyway, well hopped (black)IPA. .

Pours black with a small off white head. Nose is mild pine, roasted coffee, chocolate, charcoal briquettes with some fresh bread. Flavor is bitter from start to finsih as a black IPA should be. Mouthfeel is crisp and clean, long aftertaste and medium body.

Lukaduke (3206) - Gray, Maine, USA - MAY 21, 2012
Pours a rich black color with big fluffy tan head that aces beautifully... Big hop aromas of pineapple, citrus and pine... with subtle notes of coffee and chocolate. The flavors are bright and bitter on the start... a good dose of fresh grass, pine and grapefruit... the dark burnt malts slowly take over bringing flavors of burnt coffee, bitter chocolate and a int of black licorice.

Bottle. Put it to my head and got the dark one. Reads as a black IPA. Black pour with a thick tan head. Lots of lace. Very bitter black hops - but wonderfully so! Heavy and dark. Bit smoother than it should be. Very much full of bitter burned notes. Minimal fruit. Medium thick palate. Not for the faint of heart but quite good actually.

Bottle at craig’s, thanks! Dark brown with a tan head that collapses to a lacing, pithy lemon rind, dehusked malt, roast barley and biting carbonation.
