A terrific saison-like Belgian blonde that has all the care and craft you expect from Sante Adairius - never mind Evil Twin was involved, nor that it was brewed at Westbrook in South Carolina. Musty aroma, a real deep malty tongue coating, and a bready, grape/herbal taste that’s both earthy and thick with flavor. Loved it and am hoping to find more bottles of this while they’re still around.

Bottle: Hazy yellow-orange with a lacy white head. Lemon, horseblanket, white pepper aroma. Taste is yeasty, lemon, grain malt....slightly funky,...peppery. Pretty pleasant...dry.....a nice one.

This poured a lighter orange color with a white head. Aroma.was of oxidation, peppery character. Flavor similar, card paddy, peppery heat. Weird.

Growler from Giant Eagle in Grandview: murky bright yellow pour with visible carbonation and white head. aroma of lemon, citrus zest, pepper, bread. tastes are peppery with the light funk coming in late. also yeast, citrus, grain, musty and a little apple. finishes even spiced and light dry. don’t think I’d like this near as much without the funky brett influence balancing things out. good overall.

Cool and unique brew. Odd pepper spice complements the yeast and Brett. Crushable and complex at the same time. Fruity with some zest.

Bottle. Hazy white orange pour with a big white head. White and black pepper, grape, spice, apple. Has a hint of white peppercorn at the end but only a hint. More white peppercorn is better. Medium body. Fruity
