3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a golden yellow color with a white head. Yeast, fruit, spice and funk aroma. Fruit, spice, yeast, sugar and funk flavors. Medium body and carbonation with a yeast and funk finish.
Tap at republic 7 corners with commonmac during March madness. Dark gold with white head. Subtle citrus spice aroma. Taste is a clean professional ipa with distinct pepper spice. Drying. Good. chinchill (5011) - South Carolina, USA - NOV 10, 2016
22 oz bottle served in a Belgian snifter.
Clear gold body with a VERY durable white head.
This is a slightly funky, rather peppery Belgian Pale Ale.
Thankfully, mild, limited influence of Brett despite an obvious impact on the aroma. Gription79 (2891) - Bountiful, Utah, USA - MAY 29, 2016
Rom a 22 ounce bomber, thanks Mike. The aroma is malty, caramel, sweet. There is a soft pepper flavor and heat. Seems to have some oxidation. Minderbinder (3469) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 29, 2016
Pours hazy blond with high creamy off-white head. Good lacing. Aroma is of flowers, fruits, oxydation, pepper. Taste is of flowers, fruits. Palate: Medium body, soft-medium carbonation. Overall: Ok. mathieuc (3990) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 25, 2016
Pours a slightly hazy golden with a medium white head that leaves nice lacing. Nose is of V8 and green bell peppers, odd and not especially good. Definitely unexpected. Taste is moderately bitter, dilly and offers cereals, cardboard and garbage. Not sure if this was good to begin with but it didn’t age well at all if it was. Average body and carbonation. Meh. DP

pours clear bright gold, orange tint, with a small creamy white cap, reviving and leaving nice lacing. oxidized apple juice, spicy berries, rotten fruitiness, golden raisin sweetness, very spicy as well - cinnamon, yeast. bright carbonation, light to medium body - oily; semi-sweet spicy finish. no brett has developed in this rather old bottle. spicy and scattered. tom10101 (6084) - Quebec, CANADA - MAY 20, 2016
Bottle (22 oz). Shared by czar. Cloudy orangey-golden with a small white head leaving lacing. Aroma is of rotten fruits, garbage juice, cardboard, mild spiciness and floral notes. Taste is sweet-ish with loads of garbage, cardboard, rotten fruits, mild spiciness, grapey notes, sunburned spiders from czar’s cellar and mild bitterness. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Rotten finish. Very disappointing. Hard to drink and garbagey. Maybe cellaring wasn’t optimal? pete4999 (1445) - Buffalo, New York, USA - MAY 1, 2016
Bottle as pictured. Pretty good, maybe my favorite style, a peppery saison/Belgian golden. Pretty standard, heavy on the pepper. Little bit of brett. Good. Gachupines (1252) - USA - APR 26, 2016
Golden with a huge white head. Aroma is cloves, coriander and a bit of banana peel. Flavor is mild and yeasty with a peppery finish. Smooth finish, almost creamy. drpimento (3639) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - APR 5, 2016
Pretty good stuff. Great appearance with a thick long lasting head and lots of lace. Aroma is mainly typical Belgian blonde with fresh hop and some of that pepper. Flavor’s a lot like nose, but not a lot of the Brett. Great drinking brew.
