Bottle from Antioch Fine Wine. Pours dark brown with reddish tints in the bottom, and a tan head leaving some drops of lace. Aroma is a bit bizarre - combination of sweet malts, fruit, spices and salty meat smoke. With peat. Taste has sweet fruits and syrupy sugar, meat and some caramel. Not very saison-y. Somewhat smoke-y, so that would have been my category for this. Tmoney99 (14365) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 16, 2012
Bottle. Poured a clear dark brown color with an average fizzy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate toasted malt, citrus, and yeast aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium complex bitterswee flavor with a medium sweet & smoke finish of moderate duration. I not sure I would recommend this to a friend.

Yeasty with candied fruits and alcohol. Deep amber with a thin off white head. The taste is slightly sweet and butter. Palate is medium bodied and silky. Due to the aroma, I was expecting it to like a quad, but this is reminiscent if a red ale. Thejosko (5) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - DEC 14, 2012 does not count
Pours a deep black with white head. Spicy saison on the nose. Roasty, chocolate, ample citrusy bittering. Overall a good brew but slightly oxidized even when fresh.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma of clove, anise, yeast, melon rind, and a hint of hops and roasted malt. Flavor of roasted malt, Belgian spices, and bitter hops in the finish. Roasty and tasty, I quite enjoyed it.
