COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
When two gypsies team up with an arrogant bastard, there is bound to be some criminal activity...better to view this project as a conspiracy rather than a collaboration. The strengths of all involved were utilized to break the laws of style guidelines...dark with deception, mysteriously smoked, unexplainably dry, and intriguingly hoppy...maybe its best not to even talk about it.

Courtesy of Nick. Black pour with a foamy tan head. Bacon and campfire lead to caramel, cherry, toffee, and assertive spicy hoppiness. Medium body with decent effervescence. Really nice, but didnt wow me.

12 ounce bottle. Pours an opague black color with a thick, bubbly taupe head. Faint roasted malt aroma hints at cocoa, yeast and burnt wood. Rather dry and yeasty upfront. Subtle bittersweet chocolate with an underlying smokiness. Spicy, peppery hops in the finish. Silky mouthfeel and medium bodied. Unique and interesting; definitely worth seeking out.

Pours a very deep dark color. Nose is heavy malt and chocolate with some spice. Taste is full of malt, with sweetness and smokiness.....with a myriad of spices. Finish is bitter and lingers with the same complex flavors and spices. Quaff Score 7 / 10

On tap at Taps in Petaluma. Pours a dark black color with a bit of head. Tastes like a mild saison with some hop flavors. Very intriguing and enjoyable.

12 oz bottle. Pours an opaque mahogany with a one finger khaki head. Little bit of thin, weak lace. Light smoke on the aroma with Belgian yeast, hint of bubblegum & grass. Earthy smelling. Lots of roasted malt flavor. Some dark fruit taste with a pretty substantial hop bite on the back end. Light bodied with ample carbonation. Easy to drink. Interesting brew.

360mL bottle to flute Yeasty with candied fruits and alcohol. Deep amber with a thin off white head. The taste is slightly sweet and butter. Palate is medium bodied and silky. Due to the aroma, I was expecting it to like a quad, but this is reminiscent if a red ale.

Aroma of dry floral, slight coffee and perfumey grape. Pours black with a small sudsy head. Taste is a neat mix of floral bread and a nice smokey aftertaste. Very neat combination of tastes. Almost tastes like a black belgian ipa (a la Iron Hill Ironfish).
