On a pilgrimage for immortal craft beer we tripped on these heavenly drops of amazingly overwhelming aromas, a thick fudge-like body, pitch black color and obviously only made in limited amount. And then the taste....even more jesus! Produced and bottled by Evil Twin Brewing at Companyia Cervesera del Montseny SLL. Catalunya, Spain.

Pours jet black with no head at all. Aroma is mild and sweet, roasted. Feels silky on the tongue, finishes fairly smooth. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I’m expecting this to be on tap in heaven. One of the most chewy full bodied stouts I have had. Dense and opaque black color with dark chocolate fudge, burnt sugar, rich caramel, and light roast characters. Excellent.

Inky black brown, no head. Bright spicy fruit, dark chocolate, a bit of espresso. Quite bitter, strong sweet body. Heavy, quite a bit of alcohol. Oily. Long finish. Excellent.

33cl bottle from Chevy Chase Wine and Liquors. Black in color and thick with a small fading tan head. The aroma is intense as hell, typical Euro imperial stout profile, dark chocolate, licorice, molasses, coffee, earth. The flavor is sweet and chocolatey with a bitter coffee ground finish. Again, very intense. Full bodied and slick. Hides the booze well. Praise Jesus! This is a good brewski.

Very very dark brown with minimal tan head. Aroma roasted malt, coffee. Full body, syrupy mouthfeel, some alcohol. Flavor is pretty sweet, toasty, mocha, some dark fruits, malt. Some interesting flavors and less alcohol presence than expected but I just could not get into this one, even though it’s not too sweet it’s overly dense and heavy and syrupy.

Fast schwarze Farbe, große bräunliche schaumkrone. Geruch sehr röstmalzig, viel Kaffee und Schokolade. Geschmack sehr Schokoladig, süß, Vanille, röstmalzig bitter, alkoholisch, gut!

Intensiv malziger, angenehm süßer Antrunk. Weich herb, schokoladig, trocken, was in diesem Fall aber passt. Viskos, das nun steigend trockene Mundgefühl stört. Weich, unsüffig aber gut. 12/11/11/11//11

Many thanks to travlr for this beer! Deep roasted smooth nose. The beer starts thick and intense. Sourish-roasted, very dark and intense, super rich. Burned sugars, dry thick caramel, velvet and viscosity. Fantastic - not too sweet, extreme thick and smooth in one.

11.2oz bottle purchased at the Pearl St. Beverage Warehouse in Burlington, VT. Pours an oily, jet black with a thick, frothy, dark mocha, quickly dissipating head. Smells of cocoa, wood, currants and alcohol. Nothing special. Tastes of dark cocoa, slight currants and a good amount of alcohol coming through. Other than that, not too complex. Smooth mouthfeel, thick enough but nothing crazy. Honestly, preferred the café version of the Jesús. A little disappointed but still a good imperial stout.
