From tap at Dr Louise. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is wineous fruity and mild citric. Herbal and whiskey following. Solid tarish and whiskey, smoked and light fruity note. Dry and toasted malty. Sweet. Dry, smoked and tarish. The smoked beer in the blend ruined what could have been a fantastic beer, likely great on its own.
Bottle at Tørst. Pours a hazy orange with a white head. Smells initially of the agave, followed quickly by peat, and then more subtly by some rum and bourbon notes. The taste is primarily rum and peat. Sweet, succulent, and mildly boozy. High but smooth carbonation. Finishes with a slight tequila burn. Really interesting beer; absolutely worth a try! olr1984 (1530) - fort wayne, Indiana, USA - MAR 30, 2013
Drank at aviary. What they called there cuvée one through nine all mixed and bottled after being aged. Very interesting taste. Hard to put a taste and aroma on a mixed bottle. Very enjoyable. zebra (2335) - Illinois, USA - MAR 28, 2013
