[keg at BrewDog Bar, Edinburgh] Pours almost flat from the keg, quite hazy. Things improve from there on, thankfully. A riot of pineapple and grapefruit on the nose, with a vegetal mustiness in there as well. Bitter on the palate with plenty of citrus, resin in there as well. Caramel too, as it gets pretty sweet, but then the riotous hops take over and lead into the finish. Very much what I expect from a 10% DIPA. Keg at The Brewdog Bar, Edinburgh with cgarvieuk and Benjii. Hazed amber with no head. This was a heady, aromatic, big beer, really pretty dry and bitter, tongue curlingly so, then big wadges of apricot and grapefruit notes. Lasting and very fruity and very likeable. On keg at the Brewdog Bar, Edinburgh for their IPA Wars. A golden beer with a nice foamy white head. Quite sweet aroma of passionfruit with some malt. Tastes fruity and sweet again with pineapple and Granny Smith apple qualities. Foamy mouthfeel and lingering bitterness. A bit sweet for me. cgarvieuk (24536) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUL 13, 2011

500ml bottle from The Bottle Shop Canterbury. Brown gold hazy colour with lasting beige head. Resiny hoppy aroma. Aroma if a big American style double IPA. Big hoppy DIPA in the mouth. Touch of metallic note touch of very decent malts. Needed to decant this to a second glass to get rid of the metallic carbonation. Its big and chewy and I love the big resiny start and finish. Love that big resiny hop finish. Some bitterness. Some sweetness. Wow its huge and tasty and drunk on an empty stomach has made me a little drunk. Some stewed nettle on the swallow. Big huge and pretty decent.

Appearance is slightly hazy straw-gold with incredible retention and a 2 finger head. Aroma is grapefruit, weed, citrus rind; no apparent malt smell except maybe slight booze and biscuit. Taste is honey and light caramel malt with with a scorching woodsy and citrusy hop profile. This is IPA amplified! Truly overhopped and in the best possible way. Lingering weed aftertaste. Body is medium-full with above average carbonation. Overall a total palate scorcher and completely demented. Bov (12636) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - JUN 27, 2011
from Erzbierschof.ch - hazy red-orange beer with a chaotic beige foam left; nice lacework; fresh and robust hoppy aroma with notes of quince marmalade, pine and citrus; full-bodied and sticky palate; some astringency (yet with a creamy mouthfeel) and very tasty, quite aggressive bitterness; which lasts very long in a hoppy aftertaste of quince marmalade, herbs and citrus; quite spicy - beautiful and extreme mile (3947) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUN 16, 2011
Bottle. Light amber – orange, hazy, average and mostly diminishing light brown head. Moderate to full, malty and caramel sweetish aroma, lots fruitiness with pineapple and piney hoppyness. Body is medium to full, malty and sweetish flavor, caramel, fruitiness with pineapple and piney hoppyness. Finish is average to long, malty and lightly sweetish, fruitiness and some caramel, lots of pineapple and piney hoppyness, some alcohol. Nice IIPA with lots of fruitiness, not too sweet considering huge amount of hoppyness. suprchunk (2994) - Crestview, Florida, USA - MAY 2, 2011
Brilliant ruby amber pour with a two finger cream head. The clearest pour that I have from Evil Twin. Bubbles continue to rise throughout the entire drink. Big citrusy hoppy aroma. Malty nose mixed with grapefruit. Big malty and hops flavor. Grapefruit taste as well, but subdued enough not to be a Mike’ Hard Lemonade tasting concoction. Very balanced beer that is hard to believe is a 10%er. I give it two thumbs up! Magnini (22) - ITALY - APR 19, 2011
Il fratellino cattivo di mikkeller gli dà la pista, con questa crema di birra fantastica dalla struttura mostruosa.
