Bottle from Ølbutikkem. When poured this one is blasting fresh hops away. (grap this beer while it is fresh - so you don´t miss that feeling) The pour is cloudy dark amber topped with an impressive orange coloured foamy head. The head stays there (- and you can write in it if you want). The hose is agressive hoppy, where aspecially the citric notes are up front. There are also some sweet notes of caramel, spices like white pepper and some lemon peel. finaly i sense this farty thing you see in hops like Nelson, and which actually makes the impression more complex and interesting. The mouthfeel is pretty thick and creamy and is i guess the think reminding you most of christmas. The palate is a bit oily and it differs out into a bright bitterness and a warm alcohol finish. The taste backs the aroma pretty well and you gets alot of the same impressions. a heavy sweet and bitter bastard that is not bad to share. good one. chrisv10 (17428) - DENMARK - JAN 15, 2011

50 cl bottle, Copenhagen, Denmark, via Ølbutikken. Slightly hazy pale amber colour, thick frothy head. Citrus and clove aroma, medium bodied, sweetness immediately is overpowered by strong bitter orange intensity. Creeping bitterness that fades slowly. Rune (12765) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JAN 13, 2011
Poured from at bottle, thanks to Bernt for the treat. Cloudy, amber body, thin, off-white head. Aroma of citrus shells. Compact taste of peaches, pine, and grapefruits. Heavy bitter ending with notes of alcohol on the swallow. Good, a bit heavy to drink, though (Schouskjelleren, Oslo 10.01.2011). phredrik (1024) - Copenhagen (formerly Aalborg), DENMARK - JAN 7, 2011
Pours orange brown with a standard ipa. Explosion of pine, grape, citrus, fresh hops in the nose. Crispy caramel malts as well. Same things going on the taste. It’s very bitter, even for an IIPA. But just really good, malts balance out really well.

Bottle. It pours hazy amber with a longlasting creamy off white head. The aroma is heavily loaded with fruity hops that gives notes of peahes, mango, citrus, red berries, pine and caramel. The flavour is intense fruity and hoppy. Strong notes of piney hops, peach, passion fruit, grass, lemon, citrus, caramel and lighter notes of warming alcohol. This is very good! Quite cremy textured. Long fruity and hoppy finish. MF666 (310) - FAROE ISLANDS - JAN 3, 2011
brown, hazy, frothy, light sweetness, very bitter, medium body, oily feel, average carbonation, bitter, grass, herbs, Christian (13670) - Odense, DENMARK - JAN 2, 2011
Hazy amber with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of fruity hops, the white grapes of Nelson Sauvin, and lots of orange peel, along with a fine malty note. Bright and inviting hop aroma. Sweet malty flavour but with no sign of cloying crystal malts. Citrus and other fruity hop flavours and a good, bitter finish Maria (10212) - Thisted, DENMARK - JAN 1, 2011
It’s hazy bronze-orange with a golden, creamy and lasting head. The aroma has notes of citrus, peach, spruce, fruits and hints of cats-piss. The flavour is sweet with a nice bitterness and notes of caramel, citrus, spruce, peach and exotic fruits and the finish is dry and bitter. It’s a mouth cleaner! pantanap (3366) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 30, 2010
The Evil Twin Before, During, and After Christmas Beer. 500ml or 22oz bottle provided by Jeppe and shared at WLV...
pours an orangey amber hue, mostly transparent, with a thin to medium white head...
pungent aroma of tropical fruity hops, juicy and bold...
flavors offer much of the same beginning with an assertive tropical fruitiness, clean dry towards the finish, and ends on a well-bittered note.
body and carbonation match up well with the style.
