3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle [All Occasion IPA]: Pours a dark yellow with a tinge of orange and a tightly laced foamy white head. Quite effervescent in the glass. Nose is like the floor of a pine forest - a little piney and a little dank/musty with just a hint of sweetness and maybe some over ripe orange rind. Taste is medium bitter with some slight sourness that reminds me a bit of Budweiser. It’s medium bodied and slightly sticky [as you would expect] with soft carbonation and a dry finish. Overall this is a pretty good Imperial IPA but there are much better ones to be had [Oskar Blues Gubna] for a better price point. This was just a little too dank for my tastes but if you are looking for that sort of thing, this beer is worth a shot.
Poured from 11.2 fl oz bottle (All Occasions IPA). Brownish orange with beige head, fair bit of sediment. Mild earthy caramel malt, slightly doughy, with grassy hops that are quite dry tasting. Stuu666 (14563) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 28, 2015
Keg at Brewdog Edinburgh. Pours amber orange, nose is tropical fruit, taste is bitter, malty and sweet. Joel (114) - Massachusetts, USA - JAN 6, 2015
Pours hazy amber with a white head. Huge aromas of citrus, orange, and grapefruit. Big citrus flavor with an unexpected malty backbone including notes of mild chocolate. Finishes hoppy with citrus, grapefruit, and strong lingering bitterness. This is an impressive hoppy IPA with a wonderful dry-hopped citrus aroma and rich, complex, roasty malt flavors. Pours a cloudy orange with one finger of fluffy off-white head, excellent retention and moderate lacing. Nose is somewhat muted, citrus and pine, with some sweet malt in the background. Taste starts with sweet caramel, citrus and pine following, with a long bitter finish. Mouth feel is medium to full, with light carbonation and slight warming.
A big beer with an emphatic hop presence attenuated only slightly by the malt. The bitter finish builds as the pint progresses, and lingers long after the glass is empty. Could either do with a little more subtlety in the hop profile, or dispense with the attempt to sugarcoat the hops with malt and go full palate-wrecker. "All Occasions IPA" aroma of pine and hops, tastes the same. Not a lot of other flavours here, some citrus would have been nice. A decent IPA but not a memorable one.

Clear orange color, small white head. Piney-woody, a bit herbal hoppy aroma. Medium-bodied. Bitter front, resiny, a bit fruity hoppyness. Crisp. Yeah, all occasions IPA it is, lacks in depth (note: I had Nogne O IPA before this).
Bottle, labelled as "All Occassions IPA". Copper orange, hazy, lively head formation. Piney hops and sweet caramel malts, long bitter finish. Not much in the way of aromatics, but age may be a factor here. Still enjoyable enough.
