Draft at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014 - Session 2. Pours hazy, pale yellow with a light, foamy white head. The nose holds moderate tangy lemon, hints of acidity, hay. Good flavour, with nice tart citrus, refreshing acidic bite, light cereal sugars; perhaps just a touch young. Light in body with average carbonation. Clean finish, with pleasantly cleansing lemony acidity. Good stuff.

September 15, 2014 - at Craft Brixton; cask?. Hazy gold with minimal dimishing off-white head (3-). Lactic/lemon aroma with salt; quite grainy. Taste follows - more lemon, not much grain at all, light on the salt and alcohol. Average body, light acidity/carbonation, nice enough, finishes quick ... deceptively simple - I quite enjoyed it.

Bottle (22 oz). Shared by czar, thanks! Split 5-ways.

Appearance: Clear pale golden with a small white head and little to no lacing.

Aroma: Plain yogurt, lemony notes, musty and wheat. Classic.

Taste: Rather mild. Plain yogurt, cheesy notes, lemon, mild to moderate sourness and wheat.

Palate: Light body. Soft carbonation. Lemony finish.

Overall: Easy drinking cheesy Berliner Weisse. Quite simple, but still enjoyable. Way better than the horrible white wine barrel-aged version (Biere Blanca Blanc) that we had at the same tasting.

Shared by czar, thanks bro! Pours a clear light golden with no head and no lacing. Nose is of lemon, lactic acid and pretty much just your classic berliner. Taste is of lemon, lactic acid and pretty much just your classic berliner. Body is light and carbonation moderately high. Overall this was a pretty simple and straightforward berliner, not that it is a bad thing but it could easily be replaced by something else.
