Italy has a certain “je ne sais quoi” – fab food culture, highly decadent history of art and cool countryside. Some might argue the people are loud and flamboyant, they steal our women, and their soccer players melodramatically flop on the pitch. Listen – that’s all part of the secret Italian ingredient – keep it cool, confident, arrogant and extravagant. Forza Italia!

Malt beverage with almonds, vanilla beans and coffee added.

SlackerMads (3360) - DENMARK - MAY 17, 2014
Bottle. Huge gusher that brings back memories of PHAT porter. Black with a huge frothy dirty light brown head. Roasted malt, coffee, vanilla, light fruity, dates, . Medium body, oily/sticky texture, medium carbonation, medium sweet with some malty bitterness. Perhaps a bit syrupy, but I like it ok.

StoutHead (965) - DENMARK - MAY 7, 2014
On tap. Pours a black color with a one-finger fine beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee and chocolate. Taste of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, dark sugar, vanilla and a touch of soy. Aftertaste is roasted and a bit bitter. Full oily body and softly carbonated. Very good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at the Klooster. Poured a dark mahogany with a big frothy tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, molasses, coffee, boozy alcohol, raisins. The flavour is medium bitter / sweet with a rich malt fruit light vanilla palate. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation. Packed full of flavour and character. A truly amazing beer from beginning to end.

Cunningham (7946) - Halden, NORWAY - FEB 21, 2014
Appearance: A complete absence of light on the other side of this one. A nice small beige head that leaves an ok lacing.
Aroma: Coffee, chocolate and caramel.
Palate: Full body. Slightly sweet with a mild bitterness. Soft carbonation. Creamy texture.
Taste: Espresso, crème brulee, ice cream and chocolate.
Overall impression: Solid stuff! No point eating crème brulee when I can have both together in this lovely brew.
Personal stats: On tap @ Crowbar in Oslo, Norway

abemorsten (3610) - Mosterøy, NORWAY - FEB 14, 2014

13.02.2014. On tap at Crowbar & Bryggeri. Black colour with tan head. Sweet strong and rich. Very nice with wthis sweet rich malty beers. Not notes of Kahlua, it tastes Kahlua!! Body is strong with lots of alcohol. Tastes very good. The Kahlua flavours comes from espresso and vanilla added to the brew. Very good!
