Tap at Mikkeller bar. Looks stunning. Black with a thick medium dense everlasting brown head. Aromatic fruity plum aroma, loads of roasted malt, coffee and toasted bread. Flavor is a little off, medium bitter roasted, salty, light cloying sweetness hmm. Mixed feelings about this one.

[email protected] bar. Small head dark brown. Vintage rum aromas. Well balanced. Not very tart. Prefer the break.

Draft. A pitch black beer with a lazing dark brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, plums, and yeast. The aroma has notes of chocolate, roasted malt, plums, and brettanomyces, leading to a tart and roasted finish.

Tap @ Mikkeller. Aroma is heavy plum and plum peel, brett notes, rather dank and plum fruity. A hint of chocolate, but even after letting it breathe for a while, I don't get much porter characteristics, mainly fruit and brett. Taste is nicely acidic plum and brett and some nice roasted maltiness. Some nice sweetness, both plum notes as well as chocolate and malt sweetness. Very balanced. Far better than the blackcurrant version, but still, I think, inferior to the original.
