bomber from wlvliquors. i guess i’m a bozo. loved the lactose, chocolate, vanilla, chili, and coffee. rich and sweet. didn’t strike me as nutty, will pay more attention next time. gushed when opened. blackandgold18 (10) - Arkansas, USA - JAN 6, 2014
I loved this beer! It had all the qualities of an imperial stout that I look for these days. I found it to be a lot like the "Bomb" by Prairie but with way less chili on the back end. Pours a dark chocolate color with vanilla, hazelnut, hints of coffee. You name it...it’s in there! Very well balanced for 17.2% ABV with little to no heat. I highly recommend this one to any stout lover. KapitiCritique (379) - Kansas City, Missouri, USA - FEB 12, 2014
pours like used motor oil, massive head dark and thick, overwhelming, sour and sweet and smokey and chocolate and coffee and dark sugars and citrus and cardamon, and sticky and creamy and slightly astringent. Too much. novelty, sipping substance for the sake of conversation. Bule (2164) - California, USA - MAR 15, 2014
22o bottle pours a thick dark brown color with some brown head. Lots of carbonation for such a high alcohol content. Lots of flavor of coffee and molasses. All come together very mild and easy going. Not much bitterness for the amount of coffee. Spectacular.

Bottle into a tulip. Pours black, with a moderate brown head. Nose is coffee, chocolate, and caramel, and the taste follows. A hint of booze on the finish. Nice long finish without any stickyness. Delicious.

Pours a deep burnt umber color with a finger of khaki foam. The nose hits you with spiced earthiness at first, spent coffee grounds, chili, cinnamon and a dark heavy roast of chocolate. The palate follows but has much more sweetness... smooth round milky chocolate on the front that slides into the spicy earthy coffee notes midpalate then back to a smooth chocolate, vanilla, marshmallow and nougat finish. DAMN Tasty ! Really enjoyed this beer more than I thought I would ! YouDownWithABV (1) - - JAN 1, 2014 does not count
This beer is a dark horse. Not overly sought after which is a good thing because it means more for me. Simply amazing for a stout. Will be aging a couple of bottles. Very pleased and a recommend to any stout lovers. GenDV138 (7284) - Falls Church, Virginia, USA - APR 24, 2014
22 ounce bottle poured into a Belgian snifter. Pours jet black with a motor oily consistency. Half a finger of tan head that recedes into a ring fairly quickly. No lacing. Aromas of big roasty coffee, dark chocolate, caramel. Tasting notes of coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla, marshmallow, some booze. Lots of flavors going on. Full body with a dry finish. carbonation, oily thick mouthfeel. Very rich, surprisingly drinkable for 17.2% ABV. Narkee (15) - AUSTRALIA - JUL 12, 2014
Pours a black thick oil. Small dark tan head that dissipates quickly. Strong coffee, cocoa and marshmallow aroma. Amazingly smooth stout. Strong roasted coffee and chocolate. Marshmallow and a lovely alcohol warmth finishes. Amazing beer. tdmuel (251) - South Carolina, USA - DEC 21, 2013
Pours an oily pitch black with a bubbly brown head that disappears quickly, and lots of alcohol legs. Tons of alcohol on the nose, nice roasty coffee, caramel, brown sugar, milky chocolate, some vanilla, a nice nutty characteristic, and a light hint of oak. Really tasty, there’s lots of cinnamon, brown sugar, caramel, hazelnut, really roasty coffee with lots of cream, really nice milk chocolate, a touch of vanilla, and a bitter earthy finish. Soooo tasty, and much smoother than the smell led me to believe. Very creamy and not a ton of super dark bitter flavors. Hard to believe that this is 17.2% just by the taste. Yummy.
