Can you imagine something more repulsive than the smell of cats piss? Not really - go on, open up and inhale the sharp nose of cats piss extracted from the heavenly dry hopped Nelson Sauvin. The good news is you’ll love the freshness and the light body. It’s a true quality guzzler IPA.

POLK (2219) - Hørning, DENMARK - JAN 19, 2012
181211: Very cloudy brown beer with crazy much foam that gave laces on the glass. Fine hop aroma. Hard citrus hop flavor (actually a little on the high side).

pentaz (1264) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JAN 15, 2012
Draft and growler. Unclear golden with off-white head. Aroma is citrus-hoppy and it tastes somewhat sweet with a dominating note of citrus - somewhat resembling cat-piss because of the combination with the sweetness. Ends with a bitter finish. I’d like to try it with even more hops, but until then I’ll just have another please!

Pours olden orange, with a longlasting 2 finger head, Aroma : you actually get the cats piss, loads of Nelson, petroleum, peppery, overripe pear, mango, guava, quite fruity, caramel malt, light earthy, but the Nelson is very present, Taste: soft carbonation, quite sweet, a lot of Nelson , very fruity, mango, orange peel , moderate bitterness, guava, caramel, grassy, resin, ends dry with a fruity bitterness

stefannilssons (1580) - SWEDEN - JAN 2, 2012
Den inleder med en god humlig arom och smaken fortsätter i samma stil. Den är blommig med inslag av citrus, mycket citrus. Ölen gav mig en liten märklig känsla i början men den avslutade med en mycket behagligare känsla.

erickok (6037) - Leuven, BELGIUM - DEC 25, 2011
Dark golden body, frothy full white head. Very rich aroma, fresh. No cat piss but definitely loads of nelson sauvin. Some champagne, wheat and fresh herbs. Sharp bitter taste and with a light body. Boring, straightforward... What went wrong here? Well brewed but just bitter water without any development or complexity. Too bad after such a great start. (33cl bottle)

Bottle 0,33ltr: Hazy amber coloured brew with an rather funny name, i haved once cats and now the smell of their piss. And this one don’t smell that way, only smell is that now populair New Zealandic hops. Its have an hazy amber coloured looks, thats fresh slightly citrus Nelson Sauvin hops taste, and bitter finish too.

Explodes out of bottle with a five+ finger off-white head that fades very slowly to a lump leaving chunks of lace. Hazy light amber color with some yeast left in bottle. Pine hops nose. Fierce carbonation and medium bodied. Flavor has some caramel with pine hops. Decent IPA. Pricey at $7.70 for a 330ml bottle from Tully’s Beer & Wine Wells, Me. Best before 2013. Bottle label is Katz Pis.

reebtogi (6277) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 9, 2011
330ml bottle pours brown in color with a massive off-white head with decent retention leaving some thin lacing on the glass. Aroma is lightly toasted malts and hops. Taste is dominated by hoppy bitterness with some malty sweetness in the background. Has a medium body and generous carbonation for a pleasing mouthfeel. Katz Pis (Cats Piss) never tasted so good.

RichardW (1813) - Carlisle, Cumbria, ENGLAND - NOV 25, 2011
bottle, mybrewerytap.com. A lively foaming upon opening, leading to a very murky pour. I expected some pungency in the aroma, but its actually quite restrained, with subtle lemon notes. Very soft and rounded on the palate, has some dryness and maybe almost lacks the kick I thought it might have. Doughy, yeasty finish, which is fairly short.
