Black with decent beige head, leaves some lacing. Aroma is a lot of chocolate and plum, some roastiness and licorice in the back, a little fudge too. Taste is moderately sweet, bitterness is rather low, theres some alcohol in the aftertaste but its not too intensive. Texture is somewhat creamy, but it could be thicker. Beer is really enjoyable, but not amazing really. Alcohol is getting worse when beer is getting warmer.

Bottle. Pretty much black with a tan head that makes an inch and a half then subsides to a coat. Richly roasted aroma with molasses, coffee, pine and spices. Just a slightly aggressive and boozy edge to it. 8 If that edge detracts from the aroma a little, it lifts the taste and palate away from being a bit on the lush and bland side. It has sweet malty, roasted and mocha depth but a nice edge thats a bit ashy and bitter. Finish is bitter dark chocolate. Very good.

eduardovl (1381) - SWITZERLAND - FEB 21, 2016
UPDATED: NOV 12, 2016 330ml from tap enjoyed @ Brewdog Hong Kong. Pours a deep black color forming a small beige solid head that leaves lots of spotty molasses lacings in the glass. Nose is sweet and roasted. Notes of roasted malts, dark chocolate, coffee beans, cherry tree, licorice, vanilla, grassy and herby hops. Taste follows the nose. Strong notes of roasted malts, dark chocolate, coffee, licorice, vanilla and grassy hops. Strong hops bitterness which is obviously mixed with roastiness. Heavy body. Low carbonation. Roasted malts, caramel and grassy hops bitterness in the aftertaste. Good drinkability. Great stout. Evil Twin quality.

Cocoa nibs, chocolate, licorice, roasty malt for the aroma. 2014 vintage, drank it on the new years Eve (2016). Sweetest then i expected, a hint of dark fruit and vanilla rounded well this one. Aged well.
